Leave out any perfumes, wash clothes with sensitive wash. I used to make my own when my baby had eczema. I sprayed her rough/cracked legs with water after every diaper change and then creamed it with the homemade body butter to seal in more moisture. Mine outgrew it by 1 year.

I have my own formula but I want to add arrowroot powder how can I find what percent to use and which of the other percent should I take it from

All ingredients have a usage rate. I recommend checking with the vendor you purchased your arrowroot powder to see if they listed the percentage usage rate. If they did not provide it then you can google what is the minimum or max usage rate of arrowroot & recalculate your formula. Most of the time if I want to add an ingredient I would subtract the percent from the butters or oils.

None of these people give the ingredient measurements because they don’t want competition. What I do know is that there are tons of people doing this exact business and all prospering. I know when I become successful in my own business I’ll be giving out recipes for free. How many people really want to be bothered making their own products? Not many. So I know I won’t lose customers but on the contrary giving back and blessing others is where it’s really at 🙏🏽 sorry for the rant

Hey hun. I was always curious of this also. A good ratio is 70/30 or 60/40 butter to oil ratio. Like the first ever batch I made was 3 oz Shea, 3 oz Mango Butter, 2 oz sunflower oil and 2 oz avocado oil. That is 60/40, 60% butters to 40% oils.

just so you know your vitamin e oil isn't just vitamin e oil. if you look at the ingredients you can see everything that's combined. if you're using a mixed oil like that you have to list all those ingredient on your label/site as well as everything else you're using in the body butter too.

Yes, that is true for some vitamin e oils. I use 100% vitamin e oil with no added ingredients, which I get from a skincare vendor. I put in a squeeze bottle so it is easy to measure out.

It depends on where you purchased the arrowroot powder from. Every vendor has a percentage usage rate of their ingredients. It is different for each vendor based on how the arrowroot was created.

Yes, it definitely will. I like it more than the stand mixer. The hand mixer makes your whipped body butter more fluffy.
