I used lavender and lemon essential oils because I love the scent. Your recipe is wonderful. It is the best butter/oil conditioner that I have ever used. I am 73 years young. I am a handcrafted soap maker. I have all of the oils and butters that you use for you recipes. Thank you for your research. I truly appreciate you.

Could you make this using using more mango butter than Shea butter, but it still total the same amount combined for the two butters? If that makes sense. Just asking because mango is a little lighter butter than Shea. And my hair and pores can be easily clogged and weighted down.

Hey! Request for help/tips/advice here! This reminds me of a skin butter I made in the past. The only problem is that it kept melting back into oil. (I was living in the Caribbean then) Does this butter melt at room temp? Should I keep it in the fridge, or is a cool cupboard in my bedroom ideal? For reference, the butter I did was: 1 cup coconut oil, 1/4 cup shea butter, 1/4 cup cocoa butter, 2 Tbsp of my moisture/growth oil mixture (avocado, argan, jojoba, tea tree, black seed, castor, peppermint, olive). I plan to combine your recipe with mine (and exclude cocoa butter, and include Ayurvedic herbs). Do you have any tips for me? Especially about the melting situation.

I don't like not having control over my body or hair butter, so I either omit coconut oil or use a little amount of it, or add waxes to help hold it together
