I needed to replace my old rotten wooden doorstep, as its rotten, lets water through when it rains, and leaks when heavy rain floods the garden as the garage is lower than the garden ground level. So I needed to build something waterproof, and that wouldn't rot. And I wanted it white. And I do not like the idea of painting normal cement, as it always wears off if you tread on it everyday. So white cement + white sand + white aggregate + glass fibers + sika waterproofing admixture it was. It was a panic during the pour. But overall it think it went great. I also fixed up the door too to finish it off. Now I can relax during heavy rains knowing my garage is not flooding anymore.
