Masking tape from bottom mate , less chance stray resin hitting paint, good job love your work x

That looks perfect for the car! I wonder if you sprayed the resin on thinly if you could wet the fabric but it soak it so it puckers.

Thank you sir! I thought about that, but the resin is pretty thick and gets thicker as it starts to cure. So i'm not sure if there's a spray bottle that would accommodate that.
