I watched some of your videos a year or two ago. I watch a lot of car content. I rediscovered your channel and subscribed around the time you started this project. Really enjoying it. Your videos are definitely improving. I like the realness of your presentation. You show the success and the fails. I also appreciate the tone in which you speak and the music. So many other KZbin personalities literally yell the whole video and swing their arms around like lunatics, or come off very robotic. Thank you for being different and taking the time to find what works for you. As a musician I would compare it to when a band finds their sound.

You should definitely fill the open section at the back of the over fender with like a louvered vent so it fills it in. I would also make the front of the rear fender look a little more like the back of the front fender but not an opening angle it back and fill it with a vent. I think that with all the flat angles having the one section glued down behind the door following along the body line curve might make the front of the back panel look a little wavy. But all in all looks great so far. I can’t wait to do this to my corolla

Awesome videos, just discovered your channel because I'm researching how to use fibreglass. In the summer I'm going to create a bumper extension, as I'm fitting the lower part of a rear bumper onto my fabia estate and the bumpers is from a Hatchback vrs, so it doesn't rap around far enough.

A little tip for the body line, put 1-1/2 to 2 inch wide piece of tape, all the way across, straight split on the body line...and sand up to it. Then go to the bottom side with the tape and sand down to that. That will usually give you nice, straight body lines.

Looking very cool. Found this whole series searching for carbon fibre and fibreglass work. How are you planning to mount everything? Just some rivet hardware along the outsides? Wondering if you need some structure under those panels. Interesting to see how the other 4 corners go. What is the plan to make sure everything is symmetrical? I really like the use of the foam board. I've seen some videos using spray foam and sanding and it looks like a complete mess. I also thought you were going to create molds from these instead of straight to fenders so you deked me out :)

For your body line. Strike a line with tape. "Masking tape". You want to use the block to sandflat up to that tape. this will cut a straight line and not allow you to send over the tape and take away material. Then pull the tape. Put the tape line directly under now. Then block sand up to that line. This will give you a perfect edge. I have over 20 years plus autobody experience. Watching you block sand the edge. Just want to give you pointers for shaping material better. Tape is your best friend as a body man. I just noticed that your body line is not straight. Hope you understand what I mean. Hope it helps
