+socomsfinest 1 Hi, you probably have corrugated metal panels on your home. You can cut a hole and frame it without a supporting header. Most mobile homes have 2x2" studs and you probably have paneling on the inside with a small molding over the seams. I would remove the panel that you are going to add the window to. This way you can frame it from the inside and cut the window opening on your panel while it is on the ground. If your outside panel is corrugated, you should use an L shaped flashing above the window. This will keep the water from getting behind the metal siding. Use a good exterior silicone to seal the entire window. I would recommend using a replacement window that is made for renovation. It will not have flanges on it. If you have any questions, please let me know. Good luck! Paul

Haha, Look at that mess. Better to do it from inside. Less mess. Less headaches.

+TigerNgtMare Nope, you're wrong. If I were to do it from the inside, I would have to cut the rock out , patch it, blow texture, prime and paint! I completed this job in a half a day. Remember I installed a header, I needed room to attach it properly. Cutting the siding was easy. Thanks anyway!
