Yesterday I did my first test with this product. I have to check the final result yet. I hope the result is as good as yours. Thanks for sharing.

Hi there! Just watched your video - great to see how this works! I saw a post on the Cobi official page - the Polish Lego company as their new Junkers 88 and also the Junkers 52 model planes have cockpits that for some reason, don't have plastic windows - just the framework, not the glass plains. A guy posted up to say use Kristal Klear to make the window pains so I looked up youtube and yours was the first one I watched so many thanks for the upload as I will try it on the planes I have! It looks great!!

Glue and glaze is also brilliant. I use it on windows etc. not tried it on a loco yet, but it’s a good idea. I have a couple of old 08 shunters which need windows. Thanks for sharing your video. Excellent. 👍

Ive not tried glue n glaze before 👍, be interested to hear how you het on with your windows in your class 08's as i have a couple also that are of the non window variety 👍

Thankyou this is really useful. I have a couple of the older farish class 25s that run lovely but the windows are really set deep, like by a scale 12 inches! I've tried cutting clear sheet to size to re glaze but it doesn't look very good. I'll definitely try this method.

It can be very handy stuff, hopefully it works well for your Class 25's too 👍

Do they dry hard because I did i with ovals Before and they were just soft
@ThisWayWorksTWW2 жыл бұрын
They dry just like youd expect a lump of PVA glue to dry, semi flexible but clear, the bottle says it is suitable for 7mm by 7mm openings if that helps, but id say overall the Kristal Klear drys more soft than hard.. hopefully that helps, its been ideal for these tiny loco window openings though 👍

Humberol clearfix is also excellent for this job and in my opinion does a better job as it dries totally clear with no distortion around the edges.

Does this product have a strong/harsh chemical odor when in use?
@ThisWayWorksTWW26 күн бұрын
@@Blueberry_Jelly17no, Odor wise its comparable to using PVA glue.. it just drys clearer 👍, pretty safe stuff

@@ThisWayWorksTWW Thank you. Live with someone that has COPD, my modeling choices are... very limited. To say the least.

@@Blueberry_Jelly17 Bless you, Happy Christmas and fume wise I would happily use this around my lillen, all the fumy things I use tend not to be used in the house 👍
