Hi guys, in this DIY Wire Bracelet tutorial I'll be showing you how to make these Minimalist Cuff Bangle Bracelets in 2 styles. You’ll find one in a sleek and clean look, and the other one artistically textured.
I love using brass wire although they are normally harder than artistic wire, and that’s why they’ll make sturdy jewelry pieces. (You’ll just need to use more strength while making it. :D)
0:00 Intro & Measurement
1:00 How to prep 14g wires
2:15 Pre-shaping
3:17 Shaping with wooden mandrel
4:43 How to create an artistic texture
****************************************************************************
Here are the materials and tools that I use and the options you could have.
Material:
14g round brass wires- Cut into your own measurement. (Instruction in the video)
(You could also use artistic wire, copper, silver, aluminum, or gold-filled wires if you like.)
Tools:
1. Side cutter/Flush cutter
2. Heavy-duty nylon hammer
3. Triangle file
4. Flat nose pliers
5. Metal Block
6. Wooden bracelet mandrel. (You may be able to substitute with plastic or acrylic cylindrical objects if you are using softer type wires.)
This DIY project is well manageable, you could even make this as a gift for friends or a sellable product for a shop.
Please like, subscribe, and turn on notifications if you like to see more jewelry-making videos from my channel. I'll be doing my best to upload a new video every week.

If there are jewelry pieces you would like me to show you how to make, let me know in the comment below.
Thanks for watching! Stay well and safe. :)

I used 10 gauge copper wire. It was so hard to bend and match up the ends that were flattened. I need to try these again as soon as I get a chance. Yours look beautiful.

Thanks J! :) The thickness of 10g wire is hard to shape by hand. When I work with thick and hard metal I’ll have to anneal it, (means heating up to soften the metal) so it could be shape and work on. Maybe you could explore that method :) Otherwise, using 14g wire for this project should be fine :) Have fun experimenting.

@@MaggieCSAtelier I redid it with 14 gauge and it’s perfect. I love the daintiness of it. Thank you so much for the help.

Very nice, thank you. You can also straighten out heavy wire by using your steel block and something to roll the wire back & forth with on the block, I use my rawhide mallet. Have a great day :)

Beautiful & perfect for those of us with tiny wrists that bangle bracelets look funny on! I love them both & can't decide..so I think it would be best to make 3...2 of which are textured & 1 that sits in between those 2! 😉👍🏼

How is the black nylon hammer different from the white nylon hammer you used in the other video? Is this better for longer pieces of wire? I have a yellow nylon hammer. Is that good for hammering cuffs?

It’s actually about the weight of the hammer and the wire thickness + hardness. For thicker, harder wire, I’d use the heavier bigger hammer, so I can shape the jewelry more effectively. Then it’s the opposite for smaller pieces. Hope this make sense.
