Hi guys, in this Infinity Wire Bracelet Tutorial I will show you how to make a sturdy chain and clasp for your bracelet.
I’ll also be showing you how to recreate that high-end shiny store-bought finishing at the end of the video too.
(Use only non-coated base metal like copper, brass, aluminum, and silver if you like to create the high-end polished finishing. )
Let’s get started!
*************************************************************************
Here are the materials and tools that I use.
Material:
16g round copper wires- Find similar here: amzn.to/3G0v5Nx
Measurement for infinity clasp: 10cm X1pc
Measurement for infinity chain links: 30mm X 14pcs (for 5.5 inches chain, you may need more or less than that.)
(You could also use artistic wire, or gold-filled wires if you don’t intend to create a high shine finishing.)
Tools:
1. Side cutter/Flush cutter- Find similar here: amzn.to/3MoVG9E
2. Chasing hammer- Find similar here: amzn.to/39noHUD
3. Flat Rectangle file- Find similar here: amzn.to/3wsmnEK
4. Flat nose pliers- Find similar here: amzn.to/3yU52X9
5. Round nose pliers- Find similar here: amzn.to/3MiJ044
6. Metal Block- Find similar here: amzn.to/3lik8gJ
7. Flex Shaft- Find similar here: amzn.to/39qcdvh
(You could use sandpapers & a nail buffer)

*************************************************************************
This DIY project is well manageable. You could even make this as a gift for friends or a sellable product for a shop.
*************************************************************************
If there are jewelry pieces you would like me to show you how to make, let me know in the comment below.
Thanks for watching! Stay well and safe. :)

Wow, you are amazing! Will the wire tarnish after time?
@MaggieCSAtelier
@MaggieCSAtelier Жыл бұрын
Thanks Jess! Yeah copper wire would tarnish over time just like any other base metal wire. But you could bring back the shine with some polishing cloth or machines.

Wow! It is beautiful! I really want to try making it! I love trying new things. I have a question, Does the brass wire tarnish over time? Should I try make it with Gold filled wire instead if I don't want it to tarnish? Thanks for the video! 😊
@MaggieCSAtelier
@MaggieCSAtelier 2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Christie! So glad you like this tutorial ☺️ Yes, brass wire will tarnish over time, but you can bring back the shine with just a polishing cloth. Gold-filled wire would save you from all the polishing, and will last a long time. But of course the price will take a leap. If you’re using gold filled wire, remember not to over polished it, as it’d polished off the gold layer on the wire. Hope this helps! Have fun making 😊

Hello I just found your channel and a new subscriber, Wharton kind of sander is that please? I saw that you said it's a flex shaft but I didn't see the kind you have.
@MaggieCSAtelier
@MaggieCSAtelier 2 жыл бұрын
Hello, thanks so subscribing! It's a sandpaper holder actually. When you search online, they are also called slotted mandrels. or split-end mandrels. You can see the mandrel clearer in my other video from this link: kzbin.info/www/bejne/onyxc6GGg6yBjc0 Go to the polishing part in the video. Hope this helps.

Hi, first I want to congratulate you for such beautiful work, second I would like to know where to buy the wire that you use? Thanks
@MaggieCSAtelier
@MaggieCSAtelier 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Jackeline! Thank you :) Those wires are easily found from craft stores. (best to purchase from your local supplier) I normally use the brand Artistic wire or Designer wire. In this project, I use non coated bare copper wires. You can also purchase from Amazon, riogrande or ringsandthings online. They ship everywhere.

When you pass the dremel. or rotary tool..the wire does not discolor?
@MaggieCSAtelier
@MaggieCSAtelier Жыл бұрын
The opposite indeed. The polishing process would make the raw copper to shine and would remove tarnish if there’s any. (If you use coated wire, then the coat will be worn off during this process , and reveal the base metal.)
