The buildings that were made to last are being torn down to make room for structures intended to "last" for 40 years max!

At first glance, that building looked a lot older than it was. Probably made to conform with the building behind it.

This building was constructed in 1996 as a bbq chain restaurant and seemed to closed and been replaced with a local restaurant which seemed to not have lasted as long. The apartments in the background were built 20 years ago on the site of an Upton’s department store that only lasted for 4 years
