Hey Alex! I tried screen printing three shirts today. I noticed the second one had a spot where it didn’t get coated as much. Third one had a slighter larger spot. Was the ink drying on the screen? I thought i could use the screen back to back when doing the same color. I screen printed then put the screen directly on the next one and did it again.
@BeepoIsHere2 жыл бұрын
I'm curious about this too. How do you do multiple shirts at a time w/o having issues with the paint potentially drying out or affecting the finished product?
@DIYAlex2 жыл бұрын
Here’s a tutorial to show you how to do multiple projects! kzbin.info/www/bejne/gHuxZpuljNysjac I would try putting extra ink over that spot and see if that helps. If you think the ink is drying, then you do a small spritz of water with a spray bottle to make sure it’s not drying. The ink is water based so it won’t hurt anything as long as you don’t water it down too much!

Great tutorial! Is there an alternative option to the heat press? I own a heat gun. Can it be pointed at the shirt to cure it after its dry?
@DIYAlex2 жыл бұрын
Heat guns often get way hotter than heat presses, so I'm not sure it would be a good idea to hold a heat gun at fabric for an extended period of time. It may work, but I would be nervous about weakening the fabric. You could use a household iron to heat set instead. I have also heard of people putting it in the dryer for a while, but I haven't tried that myself.
