Today I'm sharing a recipe of dried fish curry which goes well with rice & puttu
Ingredients
Netholi Dry Fish 200 gm
Grated coconut 1/2 cup
Small onion 10 to 15
Ginger small piece
Garlic 2 to 3 cloves
Green chillies 4 to 5
Tomato 1
Tamarind small size
Curry leaves
Tumeric powder 1/4 tsp
Kashmir chilly powder 1.5 tbsp
Coconut oil
Salt to taste
Method
Soak dry fish in hot water ( not too hot) for 10 to 15 minutes & wash it & keep it aside
Make a coarse paste with coconut,2 shallots,Tumeric powder & chilly powder by adding little water.
In a claypot add all ingredients along with the ground paste & cook for 10 to 12 minutes
While adding salt be careful add only little salt once it starts boiling check salt if needed add according.
Last add 1 tbsp of coconut oil & garnish with curry leaves..
Enjoy this with rice or puttu
