Nice job Doug. I wanted to mention theres a young girl on youtube. That bought an abandoned mid century modern house. Shes doing reno to it. The roof is bad and leaking. There is some structural damage as well as moĺd everywhere. Her and her family as well as her boyfriend is slowly doing videos on the reno. If you want to watch her. Her name is Jenna Phipps. I love the house. Shes going to try and keep as much of the stuff they take out. Like lamps and everything. Shes finding treasures in the stuff that was left behind.

Seriously Doug, you should receive some form of recognition from Dewalt for demonstrating a lot of their power tools! Also, have always recognized your respect for all your tools and now you have repurposed a solid built wooden hutch into a perfect home for power tools and a beautiful one at that for the near perfect size you needed! Good job dear family!

OSHA here! I love the new tool hutch, everything’s great!! But Doug, glass doors in a workshop? I really think you could easily put a tool through the glass, even worse your hand or arm! If you for some reason loose your balance or footing, or a piece of wood kicks back, a hand or elbow is going through the glass. I was thinking while watching, those doors are actually really cool without the glass. Or replace with plexiglass. Just too dangerous….sorry!!!!
@pippaseaspirit4415

Adhesive clear film over the glass would mitigate the safety issues.

It’s great to see the tool storage unit installed and filled.Some people can’t see potential in items used in a way they were not intended to be .You see that very clearly as you go along ,and in thrift shopping effectively one must have that skill .It is perfect ,and the shop looks so good with it now being a cut above.I love tung oil .It is all I use to finish wood.Old age and infirmity excludes me from big projects ,but the small ones are within my grasp and can be done whilst seated.I am in the middle of stripping and finishing three little side tables. Originally tall strongly made thrift shop bar stools,now cut to plant stand or side table height.thrillingly the black paint had concealed the wood scraps joined together ,forming the surface. Beautifully grained Thai hardwood off-cuts making a glorious sampler of exotic wood. The Tung oil brings it to life.

Awesome! I used a gun cabinet I purchased at Habitat Restore to store my fabrics. I took two 12" maple base kitchen drawer cabinets, put them on wheels, built a frame around them seperating them by 30" for a chair; then added a top and made a rolling sewing center. I love repurposing beautiful solid wood furniture. It's fun and thrifty! I showed my hubby your beautiful tool cabinet. (So you've got extra views on this video!) Love Love Love this idea!
