So what's the hack? Looks like a lot of time to create one small placemat for a very small plate! I wouldn't put the time into it if I needed 6 or 8. I personally dislike these kinds of videos having music in the background and a "finger" to show you where to sew. Put some instructions in the description at least!

This video is totally confusing. Her constant running her finger in a circle told me to sew in a circle. Then she sews a square. At one point, she only partially sews a block. This was after she ran her finger in a circle. This is a very good example of how NOT to make a video. No, I didn't finish watching it.
