Didactic video and people can see that veggies can be grown everywhere, thank you! I do grow chayote in my garden and it goes wild and gives tons of chayote. Do you use the embryo of the chayote that was removed after peeling them? In México we do cook the chayote including the embryo, it has even more flavor than just the flesh part and I would suppose the embryo's nutritional content is important because a new plant can generate from the embryo. Also, when chayote is tender I do not remove the skin and cook it with it.

Se siembra entero en arena de río, para hacerlo brotar, solo con esa intención, puede pasar hasta 45 días hasta que empieza a desarrollar raíz, luego se cambia a maceta grande con puro abono o tierra de jardín, un mes después se abona, de preferencia composts y cáscaras de huevo trituradas, al menos 4 cáscaras por maceta grande, por el calcio para lis frutos, a lis 3 meses debe tener frutos

Good with carrots and monggo spouts cut into small cubes .Saute then wrapped with lumpia wrapper. It is good fry or fresh lumpia with sauce. Vegetables roll.
