This young lady is not just an amazing recorder virtuoso. I find she should be accounted as one of the leading improvisers in the jazz world en genéral.. I‘m amazed. I am a tenor player in a Big Band, doubling on clarinet & Flute. I will be trying to doodle a bit on my daughters recorder. I’m sure I will never come even close to this young lady.

I like recorder. I keep thinking of jazz recorder. My brother has been pushing me for that. For some reason he always chooses rhythm instruments like drums and bass, and he wants someone to accompany. I love her bend at about 6:00. (Dang, "rhythm" is a funnily spelled word!) Doesn't look right, but I don't know what right is.)
