St Denis, à Lichères : une des plus belles églises de la Charente, située à l’extérieur du petit village. L’intérieur est d’une sobriété saisissante, sans aucune « amélioration » ultérieure. A noter le sol en "coeurs de Demoiselles".
Elle a malheureusement été défigurée par une série de 5 éoliennes, malgré sa nomination à l’Inventaire des Monuments Historiques ... en 1903.

St Denis, at Lichères : one of the most beautiful churches in Charente, located outside the small village. The interior is strikingly sober, with no further "improvements". Note the round cobbled floor.
It has unfortunately been disfigured by a series of 5 wind turbines, despite its nomination to the Inventory of Historic Monuments in ...1903.

You imply that you love playing music and the recorder so much that you don't need to see the colour of anyone's money in order to play because your reason for playing is love (Amo-- equals Latin for " I love" from which the word amateur is derived)

Je suis moi-même ambivalent envers les éoliennes (tout dépend des sites), mais il est paradoxal de les dénoncer avec une image qui en rend une plutôt jolie, encadrée bien symétriquement par une fenêtre romane.

La plupart des personnes qui constatent qu'il y a une éolienne à la sortie de l'église (en fait il y en a 4 ...) sont choquées. L'époque où on pouvait trouver une éolienne "jolie" est révolue, maintenant qu'on peut en admirer une bonne dizaine de milliers en France, souvent très près des maisons, empoisonnant la vie des habitants. Quant à l'efficacité des éoliennes, il suffit de regarder les relevés de RTE, qui publie tous les jours la production de toutes les sources d'électricité en France, pour constater que l'éolien est une pompe à fric pour les entreprises qui les installent et exploitent, et un tranquillisant pour les écologistes qui peuplent nos villes. Ces réflexions sont le résultat de 7 ans de recherches et de combat pour éviter qu'une nouvelle série de ces moulins soit installé devant notre nez et dans nos oreilles ; combat à priori gagné, sauf revirement devant le Conseil d'Etat.
