How I would have liked to have been there. Gillespie, BB King and Armstrong! Simply great. This old jazz, played bluesy, just great. I love it!!!

Diz was a damn good blues singer too! But he could do whatever he set out to do. He was a genius. It's impossible to play with puffed up cheeks. He did it anyway, and BRILLIANTLY! And he was funny. Maybe the most lovable jazz artist of all time. Grateful I got to see him, but I'm old. I even saw Count Basie....

I think Dizzy was the sexiest 73 year-old man here. Of course, I believe he was the sexiest man that ever lived. I just love him and it breaks my heart to see him so old here... Such a beautiful bright soul had to age and had to die... May he live forever...♥

I just watched a few videos to be sure and his cheeks blew up bigger with age. They must have gotten stretched out because he played so much.

He also didn't have much muscle there. That's the reason for puffy cheeks.

Mr.Dizzys tone is enjoyable but as a musician I could not help but notice his embouchure, he should have practiced more on it. Not a hater the performance was most enjoyable.
