I've recently quit drugs and alcohol and its been tough. A technique that's always helped me through is observe and distract meaning observing the negative in your life and acknowledging it then finding a positive thought to replace it. Finding your videos in the last couple of moths has made me stronger and push harder than I ever have due your amazing attitude and boundless wisdom. Its the simple things that matter most to me and you are simply amazing. So to that I thank you and will never stop fighting the good fight. My journey is my own and I will continue to stride with my head held high! To everyone one out there you are doing great and never stop trying even when you can't see the light its there patiently waiting for you.

Don't think I've needed to see a video more.. I've been going through some personal stuff and it's affected my ability to enjoy music, well enjoy anything actually. I've been through the up and downs with my DJing, playing live, and producing my music. I'm very introverted and it gets tough for me to go out and network, but going to so many events I ended up meeting some folks in the scene. Unfortunately, I still have trouble getting gigs. I'm getting old as well, and that seeps into my head as far as whether or not I should even keep going. I just bedroom DJ right now and get the occasional gig here and there. Love this video. When I first started learning how to DJ I hardly touched my controller at all because of how demoralized I felt when I thought of how good other DJs already are. At a certain point I decided to stop comparing and just have this for myself and I found myself practicing for 1-2 hours a day just out of pure enjoyment. Comparison is really the thief of joy.
