The way that you mix the technical and esoteric advice with the spiritual and psychology is truly inspiring and is what I believe sets your channel apart from the rest. Thanks so much for the videos m8

Hey man, I just wanted to tell you how amazing your content and your energy is! I am a self taught DJ (playing Psytrance and occasionally hard Techno and melodic Techno) and started to learn during the pandemic. Your Videos definitely played a huge role during this time and it is the best content I could find. In the past two years, I gradually increased my mixing skills, found "my" kind of sound and evolved to a quite minimalistic mixing style, letting the phrases of each track do the bulk work in order not to overcrowd any of the frequencies (which I find especially difficult in psytrance). Here and there I throw in an unexpected transition using creative mixing techniques. I love to go deep when crafting a set and achieve a certain flow, but I always leave some space for improvisation and to be able to adapt to a crowd. Now, in the past I played mostly at private parties my friends and I organised im someone's basement or out in the forest, but this saturday I have my first "official" gig at quite a large fair in Switzerland and even though I have played in front of a crowd many times, this feels like it is another big step. I've got a killer set ready and am really really hyped for this, the location and decoration is awesome! Thank you for inspiring me and so many others to learn this beautiful form of art and to be confident enough to also share it with others. You really made a difference and carried me along the first couple of bumpy roads on this Journey and for that I wanted to say Thank you!!

Your videos are such an inspiration. Not just from the Djing angle, that helps me a lot on my journey, but also from the spiritual one. You are a beautiful soul.

Beautiful words at the end, worth more than watching the actual prep for a gig. Personally, I have watched many of your videos and as a 54 year old budding DJ, your videos have helped me understand music so much more than I would have. Thank you for your dedication to helping those lost in the technicalities of modern DJing and simplifying it all down to a manageable level. Much gratitude Andrew.❤

1998….local bowling alley (now demolished)….lucked into the DJ gig there for one reason: I lived 10 minutes away. Thankfully, they had the two nights setup, genre wise (Fridays were Rock/Pop…basically anything not Country, because they had Saturday as Country night.) Granted, it wasn’t a Club, but it was still a DJ gig.

This video is a point to point on how to build up to whatever we wish to do... NOT just Djing. Bravo!

U've reminded me on of the first big nye's gigs I've done as a warm up dj, playing some tuneful nu disco tracks, was feeling a bit shy, in front of the people and then when the headliner came in they all screamed out for him from the first banger he played... at least I enjoyed the moment of course, and started learning every time. I mean it's better to face difficulties and manage how u might solve problems and being there in the first hand to observe everything about the vibe, crowd, promoters ect..

It's been 2 years and some and I've played a few smaller lounge events and have had success even with a few mistakes. keeping this type of knowledge, will keep me moving forward. I have a couple solid connections here in Chicago and I hope and feel it falls through soon. Just need to practice on cdjs. Thanks so much for reaching us djs out here in the universe. Peace ✌️ ❤

I'll be honest, I'm a 28 year DJ, I've recently had the opportunity of playing all over the world after years of a hiatus, I've thought about joining his group because I think he's a great teacher and has a great community. I'm 43 and DJing more than ever, I work in Blockchain and have the opportunity to play at conference parties and side events and in making a name for myself through those sets. I'd love to get some club gigs though. Because I'm playing a lot from Dubai, Paris, Sicily, Denver, and in my home state of Florida. I'd love to play for crowds bigger than 500 which is about my max right now at these events.

Love your vibe, energy and teaching style!! I have a lot to learn but I've had some great mentors over the past nine months, where I live as well as catching a lot of wisdom and technical knowledge from your informative and insightful videos. I was not expecting to play out so fast but I've fallen into a good scene with a lot of supportive DJ's and Promoters. Despite being a rookie, I have been blessed with opportunities to play serious venues and as you say, moving a crowd is the best feeling in the world! I'm hooked and I can feel a momentum building. Just wanted you to know how much your videos mean to me and all the other amateur DJ's with whom you deeply resonate. Please keep doing what you do.... we are lucky to have you Andrew
