Short but great video Bayardo. I relocated from the Rockville Ctr. area several years ago. Recently, I drove pass his showroom not knowing that he had so much equipment upstairs. I will certainly pay him a visit when I'm in NY this weekend. Also, the booths are super dope! Too expensive for intermediate Dj's , but a most have for the established mobile operator.

Same thing happened to one of my TVs! It was an outdoor event and I usually secure my TV stands to my canopy legs. I forgot to secure one TV and 1 hour from the end of the show, down it went. I was considering getting a Facade, but seeing that price point, not so sure now.

I gig A LOT. I got tired of setting up and tearing down my DDJ-SX2 for every gig. So I bought the DDJ-SR2 and I gig with that now and leave my SX2 setup at home for practicing and internet djing. One of the best decisions I ever made! I love my new SR2. It's just like having a baby SX2... smaller, easier to transport, takes up less room at gigs but still has same functionality and looks super cool. ~Vince

Only real draw back on the SR2 is that its two channels and that the mic controls are incredibly average.

If you need more than 2 channels, then yeah I agree. I've found that I don't need more than 2 for my gigs. And I also agree about the mic controls. I do miss having a dedicated mic fader and eq section. I have adjusted to using the mic knob though and the mic sounds fine at my gigs.

The G4V is a great controller and its DIRT cheap. However it does not have adjustable channel inputs, a single aux input via rca, an RCA booth out....Oh oh AND NO MIC INPUTTTTTTTT. I love it mind you. Its a great starter controller but they cut some heavy corners.

I started djing not that long ago maybe about 8 months I got the ddj-sb2 picked it up within a couple of weeks I dj'd at an event where they had the sz and was able to understand it pretty well no problems at all

Honestly would recommend the ddj-rb over the ddj-sb2. It means I can play around at home for the low price of $340 (Australia) and then go to the club and use the same software and same music with the same cue points etc on CDJ's either through HID, Pro Dj link or just with a USB. I use an ddj-sz at gigs with the same software no problem. You can't do shit with serato intro.

Christopher Elson I agree, I think Serato intro is awful. But. But, if you are willing to shell out that extra $100 (or 50 if you know where to look) for Serato DJ Pro, it’s debatable. The only reason I wouldn’t do the sb2 is that if you wanted to ever upgrade, you want that DDJ-1000

Those booths look dope, and really like the the one with the Monitor option. That would be a really quick up-sell for video and you wouldn't have to hang your monitors. Price point is up there but well worth the cost, I Think. The only downside(s) for me is how many pieces it breaks down into and the space it would take up in my truck, also little kids touching the screen and peoples feet's possibly kicking the monitor when they come and ask for requests. Other than That .... Looks solid ... And Another Good VLOG

Congrats on an awesome Vlog I just subscribed and I’m catching up little by little you have a lot of great tips and you are super honest which is great! I have a question about insurance some venues require that the entertainment be covered by it. Do you have insurance for your company? If so how does that work? Hope you can answer this in one of your Vlogs thanks and keep up the good work!

Most venues require DJs to have insurance. You can go through certain vendors directly or you can get insured through service providers in your local area. Some even over event based insurance where you can pay for it as you need instead of paying a flat monthly fee. Sometimes even when applying for things like an LLC, the provider you apply or will offer some type of insurance. There is not such thing as "DJ" insurance however. This is all general. Most insurance policy are for up to X amount for Y a month. eventhelper.com is a good place to start or really any service provider in your area that offers liability insurance.

I actually like that micro booth. Didn’t catch the name of that one. I actually thought about using just 3 panels from my facade and an x stand. Then like a UB6H behind it. I wouldn’t mind playing on that SR2. Currently have the Denon mc6000mk2. No fancy pads though.
