❤❤❤Absolute love the acoustic panels on the walls. Love when venues do this so that events actually sound good instead of prioritizing the pristine look of the wall, only to have any echo chamber!

Always fun learning and improving. Love the compliment and the humility, really good stuff and seeing you grow is really exciting coming from your first nice speakers to now doing bigger things. You inspired me to get back into DJing and I'm loving it 🙌

Awesome gig log ...thank you DJ Rick ... why do you prefer the speaker on the side for ceremony sound ?

Out of the way. Front or rear would be in pictures.

Hey Rick! Fancy gig log as always 👌 Have you ever considered using a small white facade to cover the sparklers like other DJs use to blend the sparks in with the venue? I've been trying to find some online but ended up building my own out of cardboard and vinyl.

They be doing to much with those little things. Clients dont notice unless you point that out. I look at the really big DJs and they dont do that.

Whats with the turntables infront of the façade? Love that you're still doing your thing! Been watching for years!

Awesome gig log! Quick question about side fill speakers, is it better use line arrays or tops for side-fill? Which ever is not used for side fill would be the mains. *harbinger v2312s tops, harbinger mls1000 arrays*

Is there a setting on side-fill speaker for distance ? Thanks Rick
@DJRickWeb Жыл бұрын
I could set a delay but based on the distance to the crowd being similar to the front speakers it wasnt needed

Nice gig man, your set up is clean af. btw if you don't mind sharing ,what is a normal fee dj/ audio lighting charge for an event this size?? how many people do you hire to help you set up and get it back to your place?
@DJRickWeb Жыл бұрын
Normally just one assistant. Might up that to two in future. My avergae is around 3 to 5 depending on the enhancements. My company averages around a 2.2k per wedding.

On starting a 70s and 80s dance group in a 55 and over community - plan to do a play list and play with no dj. Where can I find songs with all long introductions taken out? PS:Really enjoy your channel!

I have a pair of maui 44 G2. I got a school prom in a few weeks. 120 kids in a pretty big hall. You think maui 44 is enough sound? Or should I use my Jbl srx715 tops? Btw I’ll be using 4 Jbl srx subs with the maui.

Is there a "graceful" way to pass out the party light foam sticks? Do you pull the tabs before the event and pass a basket around or are you just throwing them at people? Details! 😆 🤣
@DJRickWeb Жыл бұрын
Wait to pull tabs right before passing out. Have assitant pass them out.
