Dude... That reverse lapel hack is brilliant! Looks like it's time to drop a few more grand 😂🙈 Thanks for the tip!

With wedding gigs you always have to constantly read your crowd and be very adaptable, mixed weddings are the most difficult to read but throwing in a few alternative cuts works good, then get back to mega classics! Works every time!

Rick you handled the weather problems so well. Rain is always such a struggle. Venues think we should just put our gear down and play in a mud puddle.

Song selections and mixing was on point. Love your mixing style and dropping in! Nice!!! I was blown away. Killed it.

Murder On The Dance Floor....great track. Top notch work here. You care, and I bet your clients feel that care from you. You're out there giving DJs a good name and taking good care of your clients...at a level that the average person can have no idea how much thought, care, planning, preparation and effort goes in to make the party look...Effortless. I have been prepping my first 30 minute set since the beginning of this wedding season (Mid-May for us in MN)! Been a huge game changer for me, I noticed the same thing you explained in the video: people immediately know that you are legit!

This is a great behind-the-scenes. Your ability to adapt to unexpected circumstances like the rain is impressive. I'm curious to know more about your approach to creating a personalized playlist for each wedding. How do you balance the couple's preferences with the overall mood and energy of the event?

When talking about the half hour list of songs that you start off with to get the Dancefloor going, what was that first one, wedding horn Medley?

I’ve been doing set list style to open dance floors at Mitzvahs this year and it’s really been great. About a half hour of stuff that I know will work and I can show off a little more because I’m not stressing about what’s up next.

The most hilarious thing about these DJ gig logs or whatever you guys call them is you edit them to make the dance floor look packed the entire night. I've been DJing for more than 30 years. It's impossible to keep the dance floor packed for four solid hours. I don't care what music you play or what event it is. You're going to have ebbs and flows of dance floors. Come on man. Stop the wannabe flex

I run Evolve 8 with Sennheiser EW-DP for ceremony then turn it into a satellite speaker for reception. EWDP fits in the raincover for the evolve and completely battery powered. Serious gamechanger every DJ should consider building a wireless speaker set up. NOT cheap but 100% worth the production value. That Anny 10 seems like an exceptional value as well.

i have always pre planned the music, after the first dance i always have the first part of the night arranged, i do this every wedding. In the UK we do this later in the evening so first dance then party for 45 minutes or so before evening food comes out so i plan the playlist for that, then announce food. i always split the music up into sections for the events i do. i need to vlog more and show you all. If there was any video, where you needed a plugin for a Vessie sponsor, it would be this one. Also I bet your kind of regretting that you went to a full column array setup, because tops on tripods are a better match for a flooded dance floor. I was cringing when you said that the grass was flooded.

I never get peoples appeal to do wedding stuff outdoors. It is never "perfect" weather regardless the season or location, you still deal with the elements and bugs.

That's the most absurd comment I've ever heard. Just because you get requests does not mean you're not playing the right music. Been doing this for 30 years. Packed dance floors floors.
