actually, in the 90's when hardcore etc came up, alot of the people in the Netherlands who turned to hardcore (which later grew into hardstyle) were actually metal heads before that...I know alot of guys from that time who I knew as metal heads 1 year and the next they were all bald and going to hardcore parties...Dana was still a hardcore dj back then and alrdy one of the best; she's the queen of hardcore and hardstyle

Im not saying i don't enjoy old Hardstyle because i enjoy New & Old Hardstyle equally, but going back and listening to SOME of this stuff makes me realize how poorly produced it was. All im saying is being a producer a decade ago would be 10 times easier then being a producer today. I could really care less about the idiots who gripe about how much they hate hardstyle today.Your not gonna have a valid argument against something that takes weeks to make vs the same bassline for 6-7 minutes.
