I ran into Fam at Macy's in San Fran I was a starving artist (I was eating flaming hot cheetos ) and I walked up to Preemo and told him thank you for all the stellar music he's made, he said thank you. Then I asked if I can give him a copy of my album , he said yeah. That was one of the coolest nights ever.

As the biggest gangstarr fan I thought i was the only one who truely learned from this interview but apparently many other fans felt just like I did which shows how dedicated we are.. we hang on every word I love the way premier said in 1:09 he entered the ( you'll see mode ) I would love to have asked him where did guru write his rhymes.. was it in a nice place or was it in a messy room like most of us live like.. how long did it take guru from start to finish and did he have to stop in between to do daily chores like everyone else or did he lock himself away and ignore everyone Things like that are the most fascinating

Some people just *are* classic & Premier might be the best example of that. He doesn't have to do anything extra, doesn't have to change, "keep up with the times", or do no new nonsense. *Premier IS classic Hiphop* Evem more impressive to me than the Group Home album is that last Gang Starr album. It would be impressive if he made it sound like one of the old Gang Starr albums but he managed to make it sound like a genuine Gang Starr album that was ORIGINAL & different like it would be if Guru were alive. It's not "a classic", it IS classic. He would've had to fuck it up for it not to be cause he's Premier.
