My thoughts exactly! People will always complain when two musical styles merge. "True" hip hop deejays will say that this is not keeping it real and "True" Baroque and Classical fans will say that a turntable isn't a musical instrument and has no place amongst "real" musicians. Bottom line is this is quite an amazing composition and is pushing the boundaries of both musical styles.

Just for everyone who wants more..... Future Primitive collective is now dead, or at least shut down in their hometown of San Fran..... Radar did an excerpt of his concerto for the 10 year anniversary of F.P. in late 2005. That was the last set I've heard of him performing this, and it was with 4 from his orchestra, not the whole troupe. After the Red Bull thing and NO videos and NO dvds and NO cd releases, we can consider this a wonderful afterthought. Don't kill the messenger, sorry all!!

@ Ken Geniza, if I remember correctly, there was no second movement, only the one. He did play the entire piece again because the cries for an encore were so loud and just would not stop until they started playing again.
