Were you on drugs? I'm a bit of a snobby elitist with music. A huge Radiohead fan, Pink Floyd, that sort of thing, but I also can readily admit that this song is pretty great. I've always wondered though if a lot of this music was 'designed' for an ecstacy trip. I only ever smoked weed back in the day, and music was great with weed, but I've heard people say that Peter Gabriel's solo music, for example, and his music videos are steeped in magic mushroom and lsd imagery, filled with sounds that'll really tip you over the edge if you heard them while tripping. So I've found myself wondering if a lot of the things that songs like this do, is purely with a trip in mind.

I'm 37 and I remember this. Grew up on trance, techno, and alternative rock. Then got on rap and hip hop. At the age of 17 I got addicted to drugs because of peer pressure in high school. I was born in '86, and the 90's and early 2000's for music brought me to life. This crap nowadays has my young kids depressed. I miss those easier days. Effing stupid tiktok. Trying to raise my kids right though listening to great music like this! We need to come together and make sure the coming generations can get some semblance of happiness like we used to.

I'm 32 and this song feels nostalgic to me from my high school days. 04-07, I was a late bloomer Lol. But still, I was at that era where cellphones weren't as advanced, computers and social media were, but not how it is now. I miss those days so much though. It made me smarter trying to figure out an address through printed mapquest maps, or remembering people's numbers cause it was essential or like mostly everyone else did, we had an agenda with numbers. Idk I miss the simple things of that era, even though they might not be considered as simple nowadays Lol
