Sad part is 100% of those great records are barely even recognized by deejays of today. You go to clubs and parties today the crowd is either what’s that or nobody listens to that no more. As a DJ myself I always show n prove great music never dies. A real Dj can always bring it out on any set. Peace.

Exactly and a good dj should blend new and old and all types of genre and not stuck with just one or two. A good dj can drop old school hip hop, new hip hop, R&B, disco, funk, nu funk, new jack swing, 70s and 80s disco and have everyone dancing all night.

Dudes dad was a electrician. He had his dad build a what would later be a phono/line switch on his mixer before mixers were made like that. That jazzy jeff scratch he was doing it before jazzy jeff. Cause I started with using the balance on a receiver as a fader before I could afford a mixer, his dad built a switch on the mixer that made left fader channel 2 and right fader channel 1 for when I came over. Ahead of his time. People dont know he worked on lauren hill first album and someone else took credit on the dotted line. It was all for the love then and is still today as u can see.
