The SeaDoos have a closed loop cooling system while the Yamaha and Kawasaki have open loop. So not only are they messing up the wear ring but all that sand is also probably in the cooling system now

Nothing worse than people not be ready at the ramp - drain plug in, mooring lines ready, fenders ready, gear is in the boat - then the driver can quickly park and boat departs. But then Dan wouldn’t have funny content to film😎

My wife has been launching and loading my boat for years. Better than most men. Typically the time the truck hits the launch till either loaded or unloaded is no longer than a minute or two. We get everything ready in the parking area before the launch and she drives it up on the trailer while I connect the winch. Pull the boat out and go to the parking area where we finalize the strapping. All loading/unloading and strap/unstrapping is done in the parking area. The launch is exactly that a launch. She pulls off the pier and waits for me to walk and board, I will pull to the pier to get the truck and she will pull away and wait till the trailer is in the water. Hands down better than most men I have ever seen. I have guys ask me all the time if I need help...my response is stand back and watch- she will teach you something. After the process is complete they are usually standing there in disbelief. Hats off to those female captain. Glad to see she wasn't just a rope holder.

Usually we can launch and load in less than a minute. There needs to be at least two competent humans involved to do it quickly: one that can back a trailer and one that can drive a boat. All items and passengers should be ON THE BOAT before it even enters the launch ramp. Back the trailer in, start the motor and back off the trailer. You can then “loiter” in the area while others use the ramp and the truck driver returns. The only thing the dock is used for is to pick up the truck driver when you nose up to it.
