PPE is basically a requirement for all employees, and this is a company policy for employees only. He is security and cannot give orders and he has absolutely no authority over anyone and why does he assume you must answer him? They have no clue about the law and just try and make it up as they go along and they are struggling to cover up their failures and first question is "wheres your car" so they can report it to the police who will find the name of the registered keeper and pass it on. Strange how there is nobody to man the security gate but 10 people can turn up. Glad you aren't flying your drone over their property and they have noticed you are doing what they claimed you wouldn't be doing and that makes me smile. Alan is quite correct about reporting to the gate house because it invalidates their insurance for visitors and it makes the company fully liable for any injuries any visitor sustains and I would suggest Alan has the entrance fenced off so people cannot enter without passing the gate house.
@TheSadButMadLad2 жыл бұрын

To Alan and the PAM-UK 'family' of workers, your products are great and you are generally a good company - but your 'security' was utterly useless, anyone could have gotten in there, whether innocent people that could end up in extreme danger from the foundry, or hostile persons in a theft or terrorism context. And the person, DJ, who you should have been thanking and having a pleasant friendly chat with for highlighting the situation, was surrounded by multiple people who seemed to be inspiring each other to gradually increase the hostility bit by bit, not an honourable way to behave. Then after, DJ, who stated that he didn't intend to be there again, not listened to and repeatedly told not to come on site again. Please improve!

Alan needs to fix his security and attitude. His manager needs to understand the drone laws. I bet they all watch this. I guess you are a customer Stephen, I've watched companies that I've used and after seeing some bad attitudes I will never use them again.

@@J0nny61 I know what you mean about companies' behaviour. I am not a customer, In the past I was one of what people call 'drainspotters' had an interest in manhole covers and access covers, the industrial product, the varieties, the designs, if you search Japanese manhole covers on youtube you can see the height of what is possible with them. Anyway, due to my interest I was restrained in what I said, I could have had some very harsh words for them.

Brilliant Vlog DJ. Think you rattled a few cages with the lax of security and H&S issues. Even some Environmental questions to be sought after. The MD was rather shaken too. There will be a few recommendations, changes, made from your reconnaissance of their site being made rather sharply. 👍 A report made to the local council feels in order also.

I love it when you are saying you are auditing (with an official voice) 🤣🤣 I bet they were sh*tting themselves thinking you were in an official capacity ( I was a past company auditor and I give you 10/10 for your approach .... I am still smiling as they scampered off)

Superb audit, best one so far. Really interesting info, including drone operation detail. Uncovering serious security weaknesses, they would be foolish not to take your work seriously. My fave Uk auditor, keep up the good work mate 😊

WOW! Somebody’s head is gonna roll! Well done - you highlighted their weaknesses in a very professional manner. It would be interesting to go back in about a month to see how far you can get. 😆

Loved how DJ asks “are you having a laugh?” and the guard thinks for a bit then calls in to double check whether or not they’re in fact having a laugh.

Great content as usual. Though I have had a concerning thought for the future, as the more businesses get the audit treatment the more they will clamour to their friends in government to eventually get drones and cameras outlawed in/above/near a business.

Its very difficult to do so. Very hard tto get a no flight zone

@@ommanomnom I'm speaking more broadly about changing photography laws, then it wont matter if you can fly a drone as filming will be illegal.

On the contrary, when this orders will be challenged, evidence like this will take away the air out of the wings of such a move. There's always some dangers looming around somewhere in the air...even if you decided not to do anything at all, nothing, whatsoever...a law against nothingness could be made against your or my inactions or lack of activity thereof, strange world we live in..if you get me😊
