Today we take a look at Cadent Gas, Ansty Park, Pilot Way, Coventry CV7 9JU.
We have a chat with a Security Guard, a Boss and then the Police.
A few other people get involved but we do learn about Rainwater Harvesting which sounds awesome.
We learn a little about Cadent, the owners of the largest gas distribution business in the UK and how they are trying to use sustainable principles in the build.
We do take the drone up but this causes everyone involved to go a little crazy.
Enjoy!

The cop REALLY wanted the red car to be DJ’s vehicle - he asked once (28:40) and then again (39:10). He’d surely have been straight over to look at it had DJ said yes but as he said it wasn’t, didn’t. If it was the security guard’s car, maybe DJ should’ve replied, in a worried tone, “My vehicle has nothing to do with this” or “What’s that to you?”.

I built a rain water harvesting system in my shed along side my own mini power station. It's not difficult to do and doesn't stagnate as long as it's kept in the dark. I use a first flush system followed by a sand filter and then collection into 2x 150L tanks. If you add 30ml of sodium hypochlorite ( AKA bleach ) then it would be perfectly drinkable but I also have my own Doulton ceramic water filter system too. If we have a power cut then I am the only person left in my block with lights and power !!!

A house in our village has a rainwater collection system where the water is collected from the roof and stored in pipework within the loft space and then used for flushing the loo and watering his gardens. Expensive to install so probably take years to recoup the cost on water saving, but I suppose environmentally friendly.

Yeah too many auditors (have to exclude this dude as this is only the second vid of his I've watched - thanks to "P.J") get too easily distracted and so much of it is intentional. Especially officer stops. They are taught to take abuse/distract, if someone is filming a police interaction. While auditors think they've won, the coppers pat each other on the back later for the actual stop interaction not being filmed.

As a property-owning consumer every drop of rain that falls on my property belongs to the water authority. If I store and use that water for any purpose the water authority can charge me for it as the law says that it belongs to them. If the same law applies to corporations then Cadent should be paying for the rain water they use. There was a story going around a few years ago about a farmer who dug a water reservoir that was supplied by the water that drained of his land. It filled up during the winter and in the summer he used the water to irrigate his land. The water authority charged him for using that water as it belonged to them. He counter-charged them with using his hole in the ground to store their water and asked them to remove their water from his hole. I never heard the outcome....

@@Awakend7 the call to the police might have said ' there is a suspicious looking bloke going around filming " . In public that is quite legal , but if someone is suspicious and the police attend it can all be cleared up . Simple. Are they supposed to ignore calls from concerned members of the public ?

DJ , the geese in question aren’t the winged variety. I get a feeling you knew that, but felt compelled to type it 😜. Been watching Stop the Goose for a while and SADB from pre-covid days (remember them)? Even picked up a bit of Russian from Kirill. Might come in handy in the future. And watching yours of course DJ. I like how you give them indefatigable evidence of the facts and they still have instilled in their heads they are correct because some random person told them. Another great video Audit 👍 educating employees the Law on Auditing and Flying of Drones in Air Space. Its still amazing that when members of the public phone the police and say "There is a person with a camera filming my business building and flying a Drone over my business that the police 🚔 attend. When what the police should be saying is "Its a legal activity so not a police matter" 🤔 Trespassing is also a Civil matter, police only need to attend if thier is a public order offence, or a breach of the peace. PINAC Always cracks me up when you get people walking up to an Auditor using a video 📹 camera and they say "Don't Film Me" 😆😄 love the Drone footage it really makes the auditing better and completes the story 👏👍

Quite a mix of personalities in this one, even within the individuals themselves! Security guy seems like he was just supposed to watch the goods on the road and/or stop VEHICLES from coming down, I think they got confused that their sign said Rolls Royce vehicles only, no public access, thinking it meant no pedestrians but it really meant no vehicles (cuz they wouldn't be able to get anywhere through there). Then Wooly guy comes out and he seems pretty cool, then he starts saying he can't walk down there on the footpath, then after a bit of tooth-pulling, he gives a very good description of the water deal and sunlight deal and walks off nicely. Other guy starts complaining that he's flying a drone but it wasn't looking at his stuff and then refuses to talk about what he doesn't want seen. But meanwhile, he's wearing a mask (although that might be because he doesn't want to be recognized) whereas Wooly is coughing into his hand and then possibly offers to let DJ shake it. Then, when he sees Masky has stopped the police, he comes up to Bobby and starts crying to him that DJ wouldn't leave his property when he did! New guy comes in and starts talking to DJ and then expects him not to record him while he's talking to him! And Dj points out that they're wasting their time, they're probably getting paid the equivalent of hundreds of dollars per hour and they're wasting it harassing people.

"we installed this road, so it is ours" is a common misconception. When a new project is expected to increase traffic, it may be necessary to add traffic lights, additional traffic lanes, sidewalks or other improvements for public safety. The owners are usually responsible for that, but they do not now own that public property.

Did you like how the copper asked if it was your car.......why is there first priority to try and identify you. It's actually unlawful for him to identify you when you're not breaking the law. But they will disguise the fact they are identifying you by saying its road traffic act and they can check any car. But it won't be for the purposes of a vehicle check. Its only purpose is to identify you.

In Australia a lot of homes have rain water tanks attached to the houses for drinking, washing, showering. The water quality is better than you get out of the tap (the powers that be would argue this) it is free of fluoride and other purifying chemicals that make the water taste terrible in comparison. In most modern housing areas they use the tank water for watering gardens and flushing toilets.
