It's so shameful that councils spam listed status on private residences, especially the old decrepit ones with close to no historical or beauty significance, but when a developer gives them money to replace such an awesome and beautiful pub/inn with a 30+floors concrete monster they instantly jump on the money and forget everything else. 😢

12:45 A multi ton crane hitting a 249g drone, hmmmm, I dont think the crane would even notice. If that were a problem they would have to stop all the pigeons from landing on the crane and damaging it 🙂

but if the drone drops out of the sky and hit someone even if it doesnt weigh much it still could cause injury
@michaelhex11 ай бұрын
@ton2003 Yes thats true, a pigeon weights up to 350g, a seagull weighs 1.75 Kg, so its lighter than two very popular birds and as there are so few drones flying around you stand more chance of being hit by a bird than you do a drone that weighs 249g.

The crane, has to free slew in the wind or weather vane as it can be knocked down, if the wind speed was too high. If you noticed that crane was just sitting on it's base, attached with nuts. I can assure you that wind speed was not too high to knock the crane down, or operate for that matter. If you can operate the drone they can operate the crane.😀 The excavation was very impressive and clean. I wish that every site looked like that! The rebar cage you were looking at and thought it connected to somewhere, is a wall that hasn't been shot with shotcrete yet. That's a day to go and shoot video. I have been doing my own drone shots here in Canada, I don't have anything on KZbin, but it is all Hi-rise construction, which I have been doing 22 years now, in the safety aspect.

When I was a kid 30+ years ago, there were roughly 30 pubs on 1.9 mile road, less than a third of a mile to my East. Around 60 years ago, way before I was born in 1985, there were at least 50 pubs on that 1.9 mile road. How many pubs are on that 1.9 mile road today? Five, although technically 2 of them could be classed as not being part of the road, as they're on roundabouts at either end, plus 1 of the 5 has apparently closed in the last year. It's been just those 5 pubs for the last 10-15 years, maybe longer. Most of the ones I can remember, are all now owned by Asians, who have turned them into things like disaster charities, solicitors, takeaways and restaurants. Elsewhere in the city, former pubs have been turned into things like apartments, Asian shops, Asian wedding venues, and mosques.

its a shame the site managers dont seem to understand a 249 g drone cannot knock downa tower crane, it cannot even scratch the paint on the crane. and if the crane is in free slew as he called it and can swing around when and where it wants then the public should be kept a long way away from it and the whole road shut off. obviously he seems think his crane is in a dangerous mode or that the tiny drone weighs about 50 ton.
