But Carlos it maybe the trend and has been for a lotta my homies since DNB days.I love spinning this junk I’m not a fan of it but it’s like you said simply easy to mix most of the songs they don’t know if a track is playing or ur actually djing ur casual that is.I would find songs tht mix themselves in the production it’s just layers it’s why I never really respected big Vegas djs James hype etc everyone saw his fail he was shook he just threw out a bunch of effects on beat as gud as he could he didn’t save that long as pause I would ran off stage and blamed the engineer but fast stuff is so ez to mix I’m from Baltimore and Jersey have a similar type of club I taught myself all and I mean every one of those club songs has a clap I simply match the claps at the right moment which is the hardest part which isn’t hard at all I taught myself Baltimore club in 2000 and was getting booked every weekend and reckoned shop gigs during the week I’d work and spin up stairs where all the hip hop was to hone my skills on their equipment it wasn’t until 05 I got a pair of fresh 1200s and a crown amp

Amazing breakdown of the technique. Another trick I use when setting the beat grid and BPM for acapellas - because sometimes acapellas do not start properly on beat one: First I ensure proper beat grid and BPM for the original track, next I load the ACA Track and the Original track on Deck 1 and 2. Then I transfer the BPM and grid settings from the original to the acapella track.
@djcarlo Жыл бұрын
That's the normal way of doing it! I usually do that for other acapellas, especially when the vocals start on the 2nd beat

I’ve been making music and DJing on and off for some time, so for me it’s much easier to master those techniques, however it would be much more complicated if you wouldn’t explain and show us those trick! Thank you so much brother 🤝

Honestly been trying to figure out DJ-ing my own and after a few months I have came across this type of technique and was further exploring on what the possibilities where including scratching and looping at the same time. After seeing your video it has really shown me a lot more depth of what I was trying to do and it’s really awesome and helpful! I love your videos and appreciate the great detail you put in them! Hope to try this out later today!⚡️🔥

I’ve been watching these videos so much. I can’t wait until my flx4 gets here so I can get started on learning this stuff hands on. Always have had a great deal of love for music and been wanting to DJ since I was 16. Now I’m almost 40 and just getting to it.
