For me, THIS song was Andy Gibbs best one of all! Not just because of it alone, but because of the memories of a teenager (now 65) that were being made then when it was on the radio. I wish I knew back then how important that song, and many others, would become as the years went by. I was young, and took my youth for granted. I guess we all have to live and learn.

..This tune was possibly the most 'baroque' tune of the 70's; for a "Disco" tune, there's a LOT of stop / start breaks, a Beatles-esque Vocal, and a huge amount of 'space'...and, when the groove kicks in (at the end) it grooves along....but....It just....WORKS! ...and this "Purrfection" mix extends the end, for a more Disco dancin' length....a former #1 Pop tune, March, 1978......

My first girlfriend and true love and I use to dance to this song. One day she just left. No given reason. I would cry when I heard this song on the radio. As an only child with nobody to talk to, except a few close male friends. My best friend since I was 3 yrs old said Robert don't let a girl destroy your life like that. Here. I got something that will perk you up. I started smoking pot. Now in my late 50's I still do. It is great for stress especially when you have no family to perk you up when your down. I can have it delivered to my house. Much better than the worst drugs in history. Number-1 killers. Cigarettes and alcohol.
