@@robertrussell6350 Yeah man I got some ideas for vids actually. Renting my gear out but get it back later so will try and bosh somthing out! I don't really do boomflares, aren't they just boomerang followed by 2 clicker?

Autobahn into boomerang into 2 click orbit. The boomerang is the magical bridge between closed and open fader 2 clicks.

The six notes is an original autobahn and the nine notes is Rafiks version I believe...

@@BeatsBeneath Yeah, I can't find anyone else being credited with inventing it. I believe I was wrong😁 Nice chatting, I enjoy your videos and I like your hand drawn S9 faceplate! 12inch Skins is awesome, got some on my setup if you want to check on my videos. The videos are terrible, ignore that part... Cheers from Buffalo NY! I'm guessing your from Texas judging from the accent lol! Or maybe Great Britan! 😁 I hope to get there someday. Looks beautiful! Great video! I have always heard the 6 count Autobahn being called the Autobahn A6 and the original is the Autobahn A9. Can add to those numbers as you increase the triplets. If you can do tentacles I would love to see something on that. It's very versatile since it can be done forwards, backwards, or by changing the counts in each direction. It's one of my favorite sounds but it's been one of the hardest techniques to master in my experience. Keep up the vids, thanks!

Ya makes sense on the 6, 9 thing. Never even heard of tentacles! What are they?

@@BeatsBeneath if you have access to the scratchlopedia it's on there. But it's basically 4 types: 4 tears forward, 2 tears back + 1 click 4 tears back, 2 tears forward + 1 click 3 tears forward, 3 tears back + 1 click 3 tears back, 3 tears forward + 1 click I'll try to make a demo of it and post it as a reply when I get a chance.

Interesting video. I’m not that good at Autobahn, I find them a bit unnatural to do, so mine sound a bit robotic.
@BeatsBeneath5 жыл бұрын
I guess it's the same as any scratch, start slow and get faster and faster. Once you lock in the movement you notice they're just another 2 clicker combo and you can flow with them really easily.

Hardest scratches for me for some reason are chirp flares,and stabs lol...i cant do real fast 1 clicks i think thats why when i pick up the speed it gets all train wrecked

is it alright to start off with a dj controller and then move to vinyl once you have learnt to scratch?

Yeah man, course! You'll struggle with some things but any practice is better than nothing. I learnt to beat match on virtual DJ before I ever had decks or anything like that.

@@BeatsBeneath Honestly just about anything that's in the medium to advanced level. 2 or 3 click variations or whatever. I think I'm stuck in a rut, I repeat the same patterns a lot so I'm trying to diversify my patterns.... But just about anything would be helpful, always looking to learn. I like that you did a video about variations, most videos just do the basic scratch and leave it there... Thanks

@SelectaRegulator4 ай бұрын
I'm finding it much more difficult to get the fast autobahn than learning fast chirp flares and its really annoying I'm thinking its because I'm on cdj or just practise ?

The scratch with 6 sounds, is that a Boomerang scratch?
@BeatsBeneath4 жыл бұрын
No it's slightly different. I've heard them called "babybahns" since I recorded this video. I always just thought of them as 6 sound autobahns. Boomerangs are mirrored, where as this scratch is not.
