I just recently purchased the Byrna SD, bought their 12 gram upgrade didn't like it due to the light or laser was way lower than the trigger guard. Purchased the K20 tools 12 gram upgrade and the fast cap as well, took some trial and error to get the fast cap adjusted to where it didn't push to hard on the cylinder (wd-40) on the threads and works awesome. I took some notes from this video and I'll definitely be checking out those websites you mentioned as for holsters and so forth.

@@syberspy9 You have to watch though. The Byrna LE isn't always as powerful as it's supposed to be. And, if it is, it's still half the power of the Gavle. Most likely, you're not going to be in a shoot out scenario either. The piercing mechanism of the Byrna is awesome though

I've got a TippX I modded with a 9" barrel with Freak insert. Cranked up the power for 12 good shots that sends .68 nylon riot balls in the 460's (fps) for about 35 joules. Also have two 12 round mags. Lots of mods available for TippX.

Yeah, I should have put the TiPx in, honestly. I've got a TCR valve in mine, so it's hitting HARD. But currently, mine had a stock. At least the one I have already modded does. But I 💯 agree. I dropped the ball leaving it out. However, it is bit big for concealing even with no stock. And that was kind of the market I was thinking about in this.

@@DK-Spencer yes I love the TippX, but you're right, it's size, especially with the 9" barrel mod makes for a very long hand gun. Still, I'm happy with it. I'm a fan of the Freak barrel inserts that really help with velocity. Very close tolerance between the OD of the ball and the ID of the barrel insert. Very efficient with very little wasted gas. Something lots of people don't think about. You just need a barrel that excepts the inserts.

I've used them in FSCs before. I prefer a TCR barrel in a TiPx, actually. I've got the best numbers with that of anything, even using .683 balls in it and it a .687 barrel.

thank you, very informative, you covered a lot , i will rewatch because i have to choose, i dont want less than 20 J, i dont play paint ball, i would get a paint ball style if it has stopping power and shoots metal, shaped rounds are ok, and the possibility of being lethal is acceptable if enough power and aim is practiced on targets but pain or stoppage power of a 300 Lb individuals is a must, my vermin are larger than me, but family ,so i dont want lethality , however if out and about i would like the possibilty of thwarting a mass $h00ting ( rare sure ) but they can happen anywhere at any time, i am not a gun enthusiast , and like many commenters below i have visted your freinds channels before, first time here though, enjoyed your presentation very much, you need a thank you tip button, this was worth more than 2$ thank you tip

@ThirdoptionJCSU You can get more power out of about anything if you add longer barrels. Not all of them have barrels available. I'd say the Intrubuster, Gavle, or FSC has the most potential though. But the FSC is the only one with a factory available longer barrel currently

The issue with the gavel is that you can't reload it easily, it's great that modification but still need to pull a cap and a spring out and then load balls, then spring then cap... In the heat of a home invasion with 3 bad guys I'm not gonna depend on this.

The Intrubuster is slightly more powerful than the Gavle on average but is bigger. It's too early to tell how it's going to hold up yet. So far I like it but the huge "made in Taiwan" on the side is a turn off to see every time you look at it. If it said "Germany" or "USA" I'd feel better about it being there😂😂. I think it really depends what you are going to do with it. Concealed, the Gavle is best for sure.
