Couldn't agree more. Watching your video made me check DJI's website and I noticed that they are no longer selling the Air 2S. But as long as I can still buy batteries for it and the app supports it, I be flying it for a long time to come.

Yeah it’s a shame they've discontinued it, but still a great drone nontheless. I'm sure DJI will keep supporting this drone for a while :)

That was a super video, thank you! I have the Air2S and the Mini 3 Pro, I prefer the A2S but the mini is quieter for low level flights. The best thing about the A2S is the new C1 classification, so if you have the A2 CoC you're good to go (anywhere). Subbed and looking forward to more content. Cheers!

Good vibes there buddy. When you lose connections and why it comes back is that you have set your parameters on the settings to RTH that's why it comes back to you. BUt if you set it to Hover, then you will feel how it will stay up in the air and after draining all juice , will force land. So it's always good to set to RTH when connection is lost. Great video though.

Yeah of course, always set RTH, otherwise you will most likely lose your drone.

While the Mini has more megapixels it doesn't exactly mean it outputs better image quality. More megapixels are great when you intend to do heavy cropping on photos or large printing. If you aren't doing any of those things then, the 20MP from the Air 2S are more than enough. 👍

It's a setting, you need to choose that profile first before shooting.

Another bonus with the Air 3 is the DJI Cellular Dongle 2 fits directly inside the Air 3 without needed an external holder like the Mini 4 pro needs to use the Dongle .

@@politutoriales3211 hey, no problem at all, I'm happy to help you out! 👍 Yes, i always use ND filters, and to properly expose my image, i usually follow the 180 shutter degree rule (shutter speed double the frame rate) using the correct ND filter. A bright sunny day with the shutter speed at 50, ND32 Is usually the minimum i go for. I sometimes use the histogram to check my exposure and a quick tip I can give you is to point your drone with your hand at the area you want to film and see how it looks on screen. Or make a quick flight and come back down and change the ND If you need too. 👍

Nice one! I have the Air 2S and the Mini 4 Pro (and the Mavic 2 Zoom), and now that the Air 2S is C1 compliant, I gladly use it as much as the Mini. It really is so good and reliable. Oh, and the Air 2S weighs almost 600 grammes (595 I think), so the difference to the Air 3 (720) isn't really huge...

If you want portability and less restrictions, go with the Mini. If you want better image quality and wind resistance, definitely get the Air 3!

@@Abhishekmshetty thank you 🙌. Yeah I shoot everything in D-Log 10 bit, it gives me more dynamic range and more flexibility in color grading. I don't usually find myself struggling with noise in sunrise/sunset, but if I have too much noise, I will use noise reduction in post production! 👍

I have been searching on how to color grade footage from this drone and I can't seem to find something that works. What is your process? Do you use special LUTS?

Hey thanks for commenting! I actually use different LUTs for different clips depending on the look I'm going for. 👍 My workflow is usually converting to REC 709 first and then grade the footage using a LUT, vignettes, changing colors sometimes and all that stuff. I'll consider doing a tutorial in the future. Any questions shoot me an email and I'll gladly help you out if I can. 🙂

I absolutely agree with you! From my experience, the air 2s has even better image quality than the mavic 3 and the air3. The mavic 3 has a terrible lens with blurry spots and oversharpend video and the air 3 has much less detail than the 5,4k from the air2s. At this moment, i believe there is no drone with better image quality.

@@floatingrabbit3556 I‘ve had the Mavic 3 for one year and its pretty obvious that its camera has a lot of problems, because I never saw a 4/3 sensor in such a small body. Of course the lens is bad. The lack of sharpening and noise reduction control makes it even worse, because both are set very high.

The Air 2S is an amazing drone, I too flew it in difficult conditions in many places outside India for 2.10 months and finally in Isle of Sky I lost it, being too confident that it will beat the wind and it did not, it got pulled into the ocean wind and could never come back. The Air2s is a camera platform to me. Everything else is sub par by today's standards. Lack of 360* obstacle avoidance, terrible battery life, older software, no smart controller/integrated screen remote, mediocre range, no waypoints, no extended batteries.
