I think the best way to view your recordings would be to download them to a computer. You can do that by connecting the drone to a computer using a USB cable. Otherwise you can go into the Main Menu and under Album you can view your recordings.

Great, thanks for the detailed expalation. In my goggles display, at the bottom center, there is a big square with an arrow, which I suspect is something like a compass? also at the top there are some kind of vertical lines, which remind me of a compass as well...

You must have head tracking enabled, because what you described are the head tracking displays.

Congratulations for this amazing tutorial. Do you know how to move cam down and up with the default command. It was supposed to be able to do it with the dial button for that purpose, instead of using head tracking? Thank You

I really think you should be able to use the dial to adjust the camera angle. But I don't think there is a way, when using the motion controller, other than pointing the controller upward or downward. I most often fly with the FPV controller, which does allow you to adjust the camera angle using the dial.

If you want to stabilize in post, let’s say gyroflow, set the aspect to 4:3. Also for reels etc, it just has more resolution to play with. Pretty basic stuff but I see people missing this over and over in guides like this one

10:30 Is that 500m altitude the same for europe as well? I know the law is up to 120m but when you are climbing mountains you can go 400+ meters above take off point but AGL never above 120.

I couldn't say for sure, but I think the altitude limit in the EU would be different. But like you said it is nice to have the ability to go above 120m when the terrain requires it.

Hi, thank you for this video. Do you have any recommendations for noise reduction and sharpening settings?

I haven't really tested the noise reduction settings, but the sharpening settings I have recently been experimenting with. I would certainly suggest trying the sharpening setting at 0 and at -2 just to see the difference. At -2 the images will appear much smoother but almost out of focus, where as at 0 there seems to be too much detail in certain cases. Maybe -1 would be the happy medium.

For me the avata 2 is more just for fun, but you can capture some pretty cool shots with it. Now if you already have something like the mini 4 pro, then the air 3 isn't going to give you a whole lot more, and the experience will be very similar, where as the avata 2 would be completely different. But if I had to pick between the air 3 or the avata 2 I would get the air 3 because it has so much more features, plus 2 cameras. Also the avata and the avata 2 aren't good in the wind, because if the drone is tilted to counter the wind so is the horizon in you shot. On the other hand, I've flown my mini 4 pro in 30 km/hr winds and you could barely notice.

That's really odd, I've never heard of that happening. The only thing I can really suggest is make sure the firmware is up to date and, and if that's all good you could try doing a reset from the About menu in the main settings.

From what I have seen, I don't think you can. Under the stick configuration it only gives you the option of mode 1, 2, or 3 which all have the throttle in the same direction. I know on the mini 4 pro there's a custom stick mode which would allow you to do that, but I don't think that's available on the avata2.

I don't really know of a setting that would help the return to home. As long as it establishes the home point when you first take off it should return to that location whenever a return to home is initiated.

Yes there is, you just have to set the camera mode or video mode, whichever you are in, to manual and then you can manually adjust your shutter speed.

That's a good question, I've played around with the gain expo tuning when using manual mode, but only outdoors. I couldn't really say what would work best indoors.

@@CreateandKaptivate I took both flaps off on the back of the controller and made small adjustments with the Allen wrench. I found myself right back to the beginning with the sticks moving freely with the spring assist on both sides.

I've only ever updated firmware using the assistance, and I don't think you can do calibrations with it. I may be wrong because I don't use it often, I typically use the DJI Fly app for all that.

You get that with the goggles recording. First you have to have an SD card in the goggles, and if you go to Camera settings and then Advanced Camera settings and in the first option Record With select Both to record with the goggles and the aircraft whenever you are recording.

I don't know of a way to get rid of the info display in the goggles. There is setting 'Camera View' in the advanced camera settings, but this only gets rid of the info from the screen recording. You would think it should also do the same for the display.

Hello Sir, do you know how to disable the "Impact Detected" notification? My Avata 2 bumped lightly to a building and I got this notification and lost video feed and drone control at the same time, this made me lost my Avata 2 because I cannot press Brake/Pause button. If there was no "Impact Detected" notification, my drone would still be able to enter Pause Mode and be saved. Thank you 😊

With my djı avata 2 l got many problems with lost signal is there any settings for that. Once l even lost my drone l couldn’t find it back

If you are having issues with lost signal, I do find I need to have a pretty decent line of sight otherwise if I start going behind trees or other object my video feed starts to break up. There may be something you could try in the transmission settings but I'm not very familiar with those. But why it wasn't able to find it's way back to the home point is a bit concerning. If it has a strong GPS signal I would think it should be able to find it's way back. But I haven't had much experience with completely losing my signal on the Avata2.

Please can you help me, i always press record and i also see the red sogn but everytime i want so see the album its grey and i cant open the album menu! Not even sure if any of my recordings are safed cause its all grey and i cant select any footage

It sounds like you do not have a micro SD card in the goggles, or maybe it needs to be formatted. The Album allows you to view photos or videos stored on the goggles micro SD. There are likely recordings saved on the drone SD or internal memory from when you were recording but those can't be viewed from the goggles. You would also have to make sure in the Advanced camera settings you have recording set to goggles or both to capture the screen recording.

The first thing I would try is adjusting the IPD or the distance between the lenses, by sliding the knobs back and forth, if the image is out of focus you can rotate the knobs to adjust the diopter settings. Other than that sometimes it's just a matter of getting them positioned on your face so the image is clear. It also takes a bit of getting use to.

I JUST GOT AVATA 2, UPDATED ALL THE FIRMWARES. WENT TO GO FLY IT FOR THE FIRST TIME AND THE AVATA 2 JUST KEEPS SPINNING, NO MATTER WHAT I DO. I'M USING THE MOTION CONTROLLER. I PRESS ON THE ACCELERATOR AND THE AVATA 2 GOES FORWARD AND KEEPS SPINNING AROUND AT THE SAME TIME. I PRESS LEFT, RIGHT, UP, AND DOWN ON THE JOYSTICK ON THE MOTION CONTROLLER AND THE AVATA 2 JUST KEEPS SPINNING AROUND. BRAND NEW OUT OF THE BOX, SPENT A LOT OF MONEY AND I CAN NOT EVEN FLY. HOW DO I STOP IT FROM SPINNING?

When you are just hovering the drone should not spin regardless of how you move the controller as long as you are not pulling the trigger. Once you pull the trigger , if you hold the controller upright it should fly straight. It should only rotate when you tilt or rotate the controller from left to right while pulling the trigger. There is a controller tutorial if you go into the main menu under the controller settings. If your controller is not working the way I described I would check out the tutorial and maybe try calibrating the controller, which you should be able to find in the controller settings as well.

If Beginner Mode was still enabled in the Control settings, you wouldn't be able to get into Sport mode, other than that I don't know of any reason.

I've never had the easy acro icon just not show up. There are times when it's greyed out and I can't select it, like if you're not using the motion controller or you're in sport mode but any time I open the quick menu at the top of the screen the icon is visible.

I know what you mean, I almost never use the cursor. I've gotten use to the buttons on the goggles, and I don't mind using them. Also, I fly with the FPV controller most of the time now.
