No I haven't tried using spotlight mode to orbit a moving subject. I think I would use active track for that.

A tip that even I forget to do. Always put your phone in airplane mode or at the least turn off Bluetooth and wifi. Provided you have a controller that doesn't need a phone.

I JUST GOT AVATA 2, UPDATED ALL THE FIRMWARES. WENT TO GO FLY IT FOR THE FIRST TIME AND THE AVATA 2 JUST KEEPS SPINNING, NO MATTER WHAT I DO. I'M USING THE MOTION CONTROLLER. I PRESS ON THE ACCELERATOR AND THE AVATA 2 GOES FORWARD AND KEEPS SPINNING AROUND AT THE SAME TIME. I PRESS LEFT, RIGHT, UP, AND DOWN ON THE JOYSTICK ON THE MOTION CONTROLLER AND THE AVATA 2 JUST KEEPS SPINNING AROUND. BRAND NEW OUT OF THE BOX, SPENT A LOT OF MONEY AND I CAN NOT EVEN FLY. HOW DO I STOP IT FROM SPINNING?
@CreateandKaptivate7 күн бұрын
When you are just hovering the drone should not spin regardless of how you move the controller as long as you are not pulling the trigger. Once you pull the trigger , if you hold the controller upright it should fly straight. It should only rotate when you tilt or rotate the controller from left to right while pulling the trigger. There is a controller tutorial if you go into the main menu under the controller settings. If your controller is not working the way I described I would check out the tutorial and maybe try calibrating the controller, which you should be able to find in the controller settings as well.

Is there always a bag check in cancun, also any issues bringing it back to the US, like in security
@CreateandKaptivate8 күн бұрын
I don't think there is always a bag check, the airport wasn't busy when we arrived so I think that's why everyone got their bags checked. I know someone and have heard of other people that have brought mini 3 or mini 4 pros with no issues. Coming back to the US I'm not sure of because I flew back to Canada. I had no issues with security in Canada.

Is there a reduction in range when using the Motion Controller 2 versus the RC 2?
@CreateandKaptivate8 күн бұрын
I can't really say for sure, because I haven't tested the range using this setup. From my experience you still get good range with the motion controller 2, as long as you have a decent line of sight. Ultimately I would think the RC2 would get better range and penetration because it has external antennas.

If you have the DJI Fly app on your phone you could start it and power up the drone. That will allow you to use the Quick Transfer feature on the fly app. Under the Quick Transfer it should show Mini 4 Pro detected then you can select that to connect and transfer files. Otherwise you could just plug your drone into your computer with USB-C and transfer the files.

@14 minutes, what's that little screen with the graph at the middle left of the screen? How would I turn it on?
@CreateandKaptivate24 күн бұрын
That's the histogram and I'm pretty sure that is in the camera settings. In case you were wondering what it's used for, basically it shows your exposure with the highlights on one side and the shadows on the other. So you want to adjust your exposure to try and center the graph so nothing is being cut off on either side.

@CreateandKaptivate24 күн бұрын
In this video I was using the goggles integra. Both the goggles 2 and goggles integra are great goggles, but if you require glasses the goggles 2 would be better since the lenses are adjustable. If you don't care about that the goggles integra have the battery built into the head strap where as the goggles 2 just h a plug in for a battery pack. Just depends what's more important to you.

2 Questions, Can i use waypoints while doing a time lapse? and if you set it so you continue the waypoint mission and you lose connection by the end will the drone then return to home if you have it set like that in your lost connection settings?
@CreateandKaptivate24 күн бұрын
In the hyperlapse mode there is a waypoint option. From what I recall the available settings in for waypoints in hyperlapse mode is not the same as when you are just using the waypoints mode. But I don't remember if you have a setting for lost connection.

Thanks for the video and showing your settings. However, why mess with Normal mode when you could change them in Cine mode. As a matter of fact, the settings you changed is what I use in Cine mode. I like to leave Normal alone, except for slowing the gimbal down and adjusting the gimbal smoothness, as this is the mode I use to travel to different shots or return to home etc. I've only used Sport once when avoiding some birds. But to each their own. Thanks for the tips.
@CreateandKaptivate28 күн бұрын
You are totally right, you could just use cine mode. For myself I rarely use cine or sport mode, I usually just end up adjusting the normal mode settings based on what I'm trying to capture at the time. Thanks for the comment.

Congratulations for this amazing tutorial. Do you know how to move cam down and up with the default command. It was supposed to be able to do it with the dial button for that purpose, instead of using head tracking? Thank You
@CreateandKaptivate28 күн бұрын
I really think you should be able to use the dial to adjust the camera angle. But I don't think there is a way, when using the motion controller, other than pointing the controller upward or downward. I most often fly with the FPV controller, which does allow you to adjust the camera angle using the dial.

Hello Sir, do you know how to disable the "Impact Detected" notification? My Avata 2 bumped lightly to a building and I got this notification and lost video feed and drone control at the same time, this made me lost my Avata 2 because I cannot press Brake/Pause button. If there was no "Impact Detected" notification, my drone would still be able to enter Pause Mode and be saved. Thank you 😊

Off the top of my head I don't really know how to disable that. It certainly can be disruptive if you are still flying and it pops up. Something I will have to look into.🤔

Is it possible to use Air 3S + RC2 + Goggles 3 and in some way connect one more device for spectator? Another goggles, or tv screen or whatever? By cable or ... I would like to share image from goggles3 with spectator
@CreateandKaptivateАй бұрын
I'm not sure if this works when connected the RC2 controller, but in the menu at the top of the screen in the goggles there is an option to Share Liveview to Mobile Device via WiFi. I have used that to share the goggles screen to my phone, just haven't tried it with the RC2. You have to have the DJI fly app open on your phone when you enable the option in the goggles and then you will get a message in the fly app to connect. You should also be able to use a USB C cable from the goggles to the phone and using the DJI Fly app see the view from the goggles.

Hello , there are times when I select spotlight mode it takes a while to acquire the marker .. why is that ?
@CreateandKaptivateАй бұрын
The only thing I could think of, is depending on the subject, the camera may struggle to identify and select the subject.
@cliffordenglish724Ай бұрын
@ Is there anything I can do ? Spotlight mode is great and I like using it
@CreateandKaptivateАй бұрын
I don't really know of a solution other than trying to select objects that are more easily distinguishable from their background, but I'm also not completely sure that is the issue
@cliffordenglish72429 күн бұрын

@CreateandKaptivate29 күн бұрын
I'm not sure if distance is a big factor, because as you mentioned, in this video I was a fair distance away from the subject. But I have also used spotlight mode and selected a subject much closer and it works fine most of time.

Hi there. I'm looking to buy a drone about that size that has a reliable "carry and release" system (or modification) available for it. (in company, or 3rd party... doesn't matter) Only needs to carry the weight of a fish hook and some line. Any information is greatly appreciated.
@CreateandKaptivateАй бұрын
I don't have much experience with payloads on my drones, so I probably can't give you good advice on that. However, I have seen videos on KZbin where people are doing exactly what you are talking about, those videos may have more information on what would be required.
