@@JasonSturgess Agreed. I actually don't have a ton of experience with other FPV drones either. DJI FPV, Avata 1, and now Avata2. It feels good when I go for more of a flow style, but when I try crazy sharp actions, it looses grippyness in the air.

Steadily rolling on the throttle when falling fast helped me a bit with the prop wash. Cracking the throttle last minute before hitting the ground makes it much worse because of the ducts.

I've noticed this too. Sometimes rapidly changing modes doesn't properly toggle to the one you selected on the controller. I definitely wouldn't rely on switching from manual back to normal or sport when going really fast or in the middle of acrobatics. I like to reign it in first and switch modes while flying slow and level.

I have a question, i am within EU, i bought my Avata 2 here, i assume it's in CE (or C1?) Mode... At the moment i comeback to my country (Venezuela, Latinamerica) should my dron put in FCC Mode automatically? Or should i do it "manually"? Also before to go back to my country i will visit Indonesia, i guess the dron will put automatically in FCC Mode too? Thanks a lot in advance

I think that the drone switch automatically in FCC or CE mode depending in which country you are ! so no problem outside EU

I have only changed the rates ( 120 810 0.56 pitch : 120 800 0.56 yaw : 100 510 0.56 ) and applied the Fcc hack because in live in France and we are limited at 19m/s :(

@@aluzuka hi for ci cinematic flight it’s a good drone but less powerful than a customs fpv drone. Also max altitude is limited at 500m which is very frustrating for Long range flights in mountain. In vacation, if could take only one drone. I would take the avata2

you are right ! yes I pushed the avata 2 to the limits and you can have also a kind of yaw tumble but at very high speed and the drone keep the altitude and do not fall like the avata 1

yes RC3 is mandatory with google 3 because rc3 doesn't have a TX at 2.4GHz ( it's embedded in the google 3), I thing that in the upcoming updates DJI Avata 2 should work with google 2 and RC2 because RC2 has a 2.4GHz TX
