Probably longer propellers to reduce the horrible noise the avata produces, would be nice to have. I’ve seen someone already adjusting it with other propellers that it became almost unnoticeable quiet.

I just bought a refurbished, one off DJI with the goggles 2 a lot cheaper than you could buy the goggles2 alone. First time flying an FPV. It is a fantastic bit of kit, really throw it around. I even crashed it today. Totally my fault flying way too close to hedgerows I Just picked it up and flew off again. But yes, it is definitely loud. I think I get about 12/15 minutes out of the battery continuously recording as well.

I would ask for a flight time close to 30 minutes, noise reduction, crash avoidance sensors and improved stability.

@@matteo31149 March is possible, if they get everything functioning properly. The reason the DJI FPV had so many leaks before release was they kept having issues to resolve. The original release date was pushed. They also gave it to too many influencers.

@@user-ie5yx7zt2n They are being really good at keeping this below the radar. There’s even talks that it’s a DJI FPV V2. Which interest me more. I thought the DJI FPV V2 wasn’t coming because the people at DJI weren’t happy with all the headaches that came with that drone. The Avata was more of a success business wise. Regardless, if it’s FPV and made by DJI, I’m getting it. I still enjoy my DJI FPV & Avata.

DJI needs to make an Avata 2 under 250g so I can fly the dam thing anywhere I chose with no Remote ID. I returned my Avata for that reason, restrictions everywhere in a big city, I could not fly the dam thing from my backyard.

Basically, the drone retains a line made, then allowing the pilot to be an actor in the scene. The drone reproduces the line identically and completely autonomously. A bit like the mavic waypoint function

I hope DJI makes the Avata 2 more of a freestyle drone. - More power - More Agility - Better aerodynamics - Updated controller with full size gimbles Lean more towards the FPV side of things. Let the DJI Mini be the entry level drone.

Im interested in getting myself the avata. Everyone is telling me realistic battery life is 10-12 min. Now you 2 are saying you get 20min. What are your experiences with the avata and would you recommend for fpv use but not extreme as im a beginner?

Get the explorer pack, and the duel battery with charger. That’s 3 batts. You can fly for over an hour.
