You can do Orbit easy with headtracking ON. You can adjust the rates on the joystick to increase its speed for up/down/left/right. Be careful with headtracking as the + is where you are looking and the Circle is where you are flying. But headtracking is awesome. Also, enable Rocksteady Horizon level to keep the video stable like a camera drone. Feel free to reach out. I helped Brad fly mine. Headtracking is the killer feature with goggles and the Mavic/Mini 3 Pro drones.

Wow sport mode and over water already!! Getting a feel for it for sure! You may see the screen telemetry better if you reduce it. That’s what I do, 70% is perfect for me. Just puts a black border round the gap but then I see the whole image without blurry edges. Once you introduce headtracking you will be able to look down as you land 👍🏻. Glad your second flight was a lot more fun 👏🏻👏🏻

I recently ordered a custom set of prescription lenses from HONSVR. If you want that fuzzy periphery to vanish and be as crystal clear as the center, invest in a set. You only have to install them once and they make all the difference in the world

I want one of these bad. Also you benefit by being able to use the goggles with the Mini 3 Pro and I think the Mavic 3 also. When you get a chance to fly the Mini 3 Pro with the Goggles see if you can fly with the Mini 3 Pro RC and the Goggles or if you have to use the motion controller when using the Goggles with it. I have trouble on super bright days seeing the little screen on DJI RC. If you haven't seen it Ken Heron last video was real good with Billie Kyle driving him on a peddle cart while he flew the Avata down a board walk. Was real funny. Thanks for learning with us

Tammie Jean had a prop shred when she switched from normal to sport "while flying full speed." Might have been what happened to Ellexis too! Hovering seems OK when switching. And trust the circle on the screen for hitting gaps. Thanks for sharing!

Turn on Horizon Leveling and try Head Tracking. Also adjust the rates on the 5 way toggle. You're doing fine, take your time, you'll get it easily.

Hey Marcus great second flight delight to see it. like the other have commented chamge the speed on the joystick. Maybe bring it out to a open field first and practice some of the moves iin normal and sport mode. you'll get it no problem at all just a different way of thinking. also Marcus be careful of your goggles in the sun. as the sun can burn out your goggles with out it lens cover. And id advise you to get a strap for your battery just in case you get a impact. battery may fly out. i got the jock strap for ken original dobo which are very good, looking forward to your next flight with the avata and of course the big boy mavic 3 pro.

There is a adjustment for the joystick. Settings:Control:Motion Controller:Gains and Expos. Default is set to as slow as it can go.

Marcus, Yes there is an adjustment for speed on Height and left and right on the MC2. . Also, I am on my 10-12 battery. The MC1 and now the MC2, just got it and flown one time, are great. It does take some getting use to for sure. My initial impressions were it was a bit of a learning curve but I am pretty use to it now. It just takes practice. They say you can do an orbit, you have to turn on the headtrakcing in the goggles. I have not tried it yet but have seen videos on this. I will try in a wide open space though as I am not real comfortable not being able to see the drone when doing this.

You might need to use some of the diopter lenses included with the Integra to get a better view. It's a much different type of flying vs the Typical DJI drone, you typically want to be always moving forward and control with tipping the controller.

You can go straight up with the joystick and straight left or right with the joystick. That is why they added that to the Motion Controller. Also, Orange on the altitude is 15 feet. Don't panic. It turns red at 5'. I spend most of my time around 1-2' off the ground when flying around my house :).

you need to go into your goggles and control and edit your rates...they are set REALLY low for the thumb joystick to begin with...once you edit that and bump those up, you will be able to "slide" left/right to do orbits AND to climb/descend fast(er) with the thumb stick and not have to "go forward" to climb/descend...
