*Funny story* ; when practising in lift off the default camera angle was set to *45 degrees* & after *18 hours of flying* in the simulator I finally realized my frustration of not being able to control it for close to hover speeds & after changing the camera angle it was a breeze to control. Are you going to begin practice flying the Avata in manual mode?

What is the best degrees for manual?
@DroneFate Жыл бұрын
@@DroniPhotography it depends on bow fast you wanna fly, something cinematic would be 10-20/25 degrees but some like it to go fast so they’d set it up higher like 35 or 45 degrees

Nice video. I fly Avata with motion 2. Yesterday I order Dji Rc so I can learn to fly manual mode. Its not easy I understand. I also fly Dji Mavic 3.

Thanks Farhaan for your thoughts. I skipped the OG FPV (but still want that beast someday!) and Avata. Avata 2 was too tempting. I have had it over a week, and downloaded Liftoff to get started. Bought FPV Controller 3, and even a Neo to learn on, instead of beating up the Avata 2! Its almost time to take a deep breath and unlock that left stick. I will probably just keep it that way. You were very encouraging. Anything you want to add?

@@BlairAir just keep practicing, the avata can def take the hits so dont worry about it

I went nearly same route. Wanted dji fpv but bought Air2s AS my first drone. On Avata release it was ",,my time to start with fpv". I spend so many hours outside to practice. Drone simulator was only a few hours to start with manual. 5 days ago i did my next step with iflight rabbit nazgul evoque v2 as BNF variant. I can tell you do this step. Its so much better, so much more fun. Day and night difference between nazgul evoque and avata. 1000% worth and i already know my next one is pavo pico with o3 unit. Perfect to train, even at home. Yes dont try fly with 5" in a tiny livingroom because it rains outside, for this pavo pico exist.

Thank you for that insight, i’m looking forward to the nazgul now, hopefully i’m confident enough!

I know it is strong, but soo loud and heavy or poor power, I got many times the Avata bug on yaw and throttle, I'm just waiting for the Avata 2, I hope it will be better..., great content, and sharing even if I discover it 6 months later

Great vid mate, does Lift Off have the Avata?

Thank you! I never chose other drones i only selected this one from rotor riot, i realized 18 hours later the camera angle has been 45 degrees at default leaving me frustrated haha

The nice thing about the avata is you dont have to ever fly it in manual mode if you dont want to. It's built for cinematic flying. Cruising around or exploring stuff. But it can be flown in manual. It's not that good for freestyle.
@DroneFate7 ай бұрын
It’s more a cinewhoop so you can’t fly high & do dives but it’s a great a drone with its safety features

Would love to see a vid where the fundamental differences between how the drone is controlled in Manual mode. Is it just the disabling of return to centre on the sticks or do the sticks do different things now? Thanks.
@DroneFate8 ай бұрын
i should've talked more on that; once you're in manual mode you'll have to keep moving the sticks to keep it stable it's much more different than flying drones in normal gps mode. i think a dedicate video to this would be a good idea
