Thanks for your quick response, I´ll be glad if you are planning to move to my country. Let me know and i will can give a hand. I am a retired lawyer, 73 years old and now playing with my drones and taking pictures. Love what i am doing. I will put your rates in my avata 2 to see how it goes. Has a minimun experience and i know i have to practice. Thanks.

Hi Sir, you have a new suscriber from San José, Costa Rica. I own several drones including the avata 2 which I'm learning to flight. Enjoyed a lot your tutorial, this is the second time i saw it. Want to ask you if this rates you showed in this video, I guess yes, are the same you're using in your avata. I'm just practicing the manual mode, and some help will very much appreciated. Best regards.

Thank you for Subscribing! Me and my wife hope to relocate to your beautiful country in the next few years. Yes, the rates I show in the video are the rates I have become accustomed to flying with over the years. I use these rates on my Free Style Drones and the Avata. Remember rates are your personal preferences. It is good to start with some base rates like the DJI rates or even my rates but then make changes and see how you like them. Try to think about them when you are flying. 🍍

Can you make a video about emergency prop stops? Both in manual and normal mode because they have different procedure.
@Pineapple2229 күн бұрын
I will put that on the list. I will be concentrating on putting out more videos in the very near future. Thanks for the idea and support.

thank You Sir! You deserve more followers and views. I would like to ask : So in Manual mode, there is no way to brake the drone? (except on the Avata). I mean, once it starts it can't stop by any action? And it can't go backwards either?
@Pineapple22Ай бұрын
When flying in manual mode if you want to slow down you will decrease your throttle and pull back on the stick, so the Avata pitches up just like it does in Normal Mode when letting go of the sticks. Once you have slowed you will need to level the Avata by moving the stick forward a bit and then work with the throttle to maintain a hover. To fly backwards you just move the stick back just as you did flying forward. The Pause Button still works exactly the same way as it does in Normal and Sport so that is a good safety feature of the DJI Products. I hope this helps you out a lot of it will come naturally when you switch into Manual Mode. Just go slow and remember the Pause Button. Thanks for Watching 🍍

If I accidentally pull the lever all the way down will the motors stop completely Or pushing it back up will this ramp speed up again?
@Pineapple22Ай бұрын
When you are in Manual Mode the only way to turn off the motors is to push the Motor Stop Start Button Twice. When the Throttle is at its lowest point the motors are still running at about 5%. If you want to see how this works put the Avata on the ground then make sure the Throttle stick is all the way down. Put the mode switch to Manual then press the Start Stop Button Twice. This is how you will take off in Manual Mode once you have more experience. Thanks for watching 🍍

You say the RC2 works with the Avata 2? Mine wont, my RC3 does, but RC2 wont. Have they changed something? Every other video i have watched has said the samething i am experiencing.
@Pineapple22Ай бұрын
Yes, the Remote Control 2 will work with the Avata 2 you will need to update the firmware in the Remote. The best way to do that is to download the DJI Assistant 2 and do it on a Windows or Mac computer this is a link to the software www.dji.com/downloads/softwares/dji-assistant-2-consumer-drones-series make sure you select which computer you have right below the title on the page before downloading. How this gets you going.

FYI the DJI Goggles 3 cannot be used with the DJI Remote 2. To use the DJI Remote Controller 2 with the Avata 2 you must use the DJI Goggles Integra or Goggles 2. I did not make that clear in my video or first answer.

Do you recommend doing this with no FPV stick time. I feel comfortable with the motion controller and now ready to try manual mode. I like what you said take off in normal mode then switch to manual mode and do little movements.
@Pineapple222 ай бұрын
Get stick time flying with the Remote Controller 3 in Normal and Sport then you can graduate to Manual Mode. Just practice hitting the Pause Button so that way if something goes wrong you muscle memory will take over and get you out of trouble. Let me know how it goes. Thanks for watching 🍍

Can the Avata2 fly with just the controller with goggles ?
@Pineapple22Ай бұрын
@@Jeff-q5t1l Yes the Avata can fly with the Remote Controller 2 or 3 and the Goggles. The remote Controller replaces the Motion Controller.

Hi from Spain one question: It has never worked for me RC3 star/stop button. When I bought it, the first thing I did was release the jostyck. I already know that by customizing the c2 I can activate it. But I have always had the doubt if it works. star/stop button. Can you clear up my doubt?
@Pineapple2228 күн бұрын
The Start Stop Button will only work in Manual Mode by double pressing it fast. The C2 is also a good option I use the C2 for my Freestyle FPV Drones but still use the Motor Stop Stat for the Avata. I hope this answers your question. Thanks for watching.

@@rubensanchez4199 If you are in Manual Mode and the stop start button does not work, I would contact DJI support. They are very good and will get you all fixed up.
