*Just got my FPV, I am a "Beginner" in the drone world. I did fly a Gas Powered Heli back in the day (2004) and I recently had a DJI Phantom Pro, I must say this was the best tutorial by far I am sure others also did a great Job, but this made it all so simple!*

Good information. I have never worn the goggles, I had one hell of a time getting into Manual mode without wearing goggles because you have to move the left stick down to a certain point and keep it there for a second for manual to engage, after you put the mode switch in "M" mode. I think I will have to wear them soon and remember that I don't have negative pitch to save me like on a collective pitch helicopter or quad.

The rates used are very unconventional because we normally dial down the center sensitivity to have smoother control around center stick - I recall the stock rate is 160. Max rate are typically in the range of 300-800. Does it loose the agility with max rate 60? Say, when you need to quickly avoid a obstacle does it turn fast enough?

Hi Billy -- FYI, there IS a Map for the "Find My Drone" in the DJI Fly App - tucked under the PROFILE menu option on the main screen. A map shows the location of where your drone landed AND allows you to command the drone to start Beeping & Flashing! I found this after crashing my drone the other day when I failed to remove the Gimbal cover -- learning through failure is a great lesson!!

A great video. I have one question though if anyone can help a drone novice. I have an SD card for both the goggles and the drone. I was hoping the goggles recording would have the screen details such as height and speed etc on the recording but they don't seem to be. I am a Mac user if that makes any difference or is there a setting I need to change? Thanks for any help.

First off. Amazing video. You went through a ton of information on a drone that I am literally about two weeks away from getting delivered. Depending on how fast or slow UPS is delivering my product and how fast DJI is at handing the package over. But with that being said I’m noticing that a lot of these settings can impact the battery life. While you guys are utilizing go pros to begin with so why have high quality camera output. Put it on low latency. Why have LEDs on. What does it really do for you. When you’re flying at 60 miles an hour can you actually see this red blur go by no whatever color you want. So you save a little bit of energy there. Other than that I have learned so freaking much on this video. Thank you

I have 2 identical micro SD cards in the drone and goggles. The SD in the drone says about 3:47 ... I formatted the card in the goggles and it says like 27:00 .... that's not right. Can I snapshot my HUD in the goggles? Thanks for the the video that was very informative.
