DJI FPV Drone Speedometer Maxes Out at 99.3mph?

Today I unlocked full manual mode on the DJI FPV drone and took it for a flight on a VERY windy day. Even with a hefty tail wind the drone's built in speedometer will only go as high as 99.3 MPH. Pretty sure the drone was going at least 99.9 MPH :) ( the legal limit )
I also tested out the 4:3 aspect ratio, d-cinelike color, and LIVE AUDIO ( which I love by the way )

i once hit 111mph going with a slight wind, i think there are possibilities to push it even more haha

I had my own speedometer on it and hit 101 mph on a crazy wind drop. It was amazing.

Calibration of control is needed with that error message I prefer to land and take off by hand because of few reasons

Ivy done that it doesn’t work. It will just go away on its own if you wait a minute. Something isn’t quite right with it. I see everyone get that warning when going into manual mode. Everything has been calibrated too.

You nailed a brilliant idea. DJI please introduce plan icon on HUD screen inside goggles with approx location. I bet that transponder system planes use don't actually give a location. More of just a beacon.

I believe the ADS-B signal contains the GPS location of the aircraft. I don't see why DJI could not place an icon in the screen for it just like they do for the home location.

Hey. DJI made 3 drones all in same price point of $999. So , I think it’s the Air 2S , FPV , I think a mini something . Did you buy this one exclusively for the FPV ? Between all in that price mark I think I might buy the FPV , as I already have a Phantom 4 pro.

how did you enable live audio? didn't see that enable by default from my 1 test flight which I pressed the emergency motor kill switch, sending my drone plummeting 100 meters into the beach LOL replacement on the way... RIP

Did you have headphones connected and the volume turned up? I think that is all you need to do, but I may have enabled something in the menu the first time I was messing with it. But that was a while ago, so I don't remember.

Tilt camera to 30 degree or more and you will fly super fast take off

How did you get live audio?

The DJI FPV drone will send live audio to the goggles. You just need to plug in some headphones. You might have to enable audio first in the goggles settings, though I am not 100% sure about that. I should test it though.

@@mikkamon I think it's great! After switching from an analog drone to a DJI FPV system drone for the past 2 years, I had really missed the live audio feed and was thrilled to find out the DJI FPV drone supported it!

Ya no one has hit 100mph on this that I know of I would think you will go more with help of wind I think it just will not show it since 100mph is max speed limit for legal flying anything more is illegal lol

I looked on my Airdata profile and it showed 104 mph on one of my flights but I’m pretty sure I had some help with the wind that day

You're supposed to have an observer when you use fpv goggles or VR goggles by law quit breaking the law
