DJI Goggles 3 to DJI 03 - Firmware Update & Bind Tutorial.

Glad it happened...finally. Updated all 14 drones with O3 units. Love the fit and feel of the Goggles 3 which I bought on day one, 8 months ago almost. Didn't have anything to fly them with since 2 resellers had posted exactly what DJI told them, O3 compatible. Well we found out that was incorrect and they had to fix their websites. All good. Glad they got around to releasing it! Great video JD!

I recently had an FPV drone but stepped away from the hobby for about a year. Now, I'm considering returning to it. Previously, I used a DJI drone, and I've noticed that the DJI Goggles 3 have been released. I have a few questions regarding them: Will the Goggles 3 work with ELRS 2.4GHz? I've heard about connection issues between the Goggles 3 and the O3 Air Unit. Can you confirm if this is still a problem? Lastly, my main question is whether it's worth waiting for the Goggles 2 to go on sale or if I should invest in the Goggles 3 now. I like that the Goggles 3 have a built-in battery on the headband, which feels more professional. However, I'm unsure if this alone justifies the upgrade.

got also the Nazgul DC5 ECO 6S O3 HD 1.1 and want to use it with Dji Googles 3 and the RC3 but doesnt works. see the OSD camera view in the googles but the RC3 seems like doesnt get bindet to betaflight/ copter. any help? Greetings

Plz help me. I bought the dji pavo20 with the dji 03 unit and I got the googles to link up and the rc single is full but it just won’t let me fly. Shouldn’t the dji controller 3 work with the pavo20?

So I already have these from tbe avata 2 explorer combo. If i get a radiomaster boxer it will also work in conjunction as long as the drone has the 03 Air unit(video/goggles) and is using ELRS? What part of thr dronr dors the transmitter tslk to? Receiver right?

Do you have to have an avata? I don’t own an FPV drone and want to buy the goggles, a pavo25 and install the o3 air unit. If I need to update the firmware this video implies I need an avata to update the goggles.

Just got Goggles 3 yesterday and had the firmware updated to the current version and everything went well except when trying to switch from current units metric to imperial. In the 'Settings>Control>, when scrolling down, the selecting box would jump from 'Gimbal Calibration' to 'Goggles Tutorial' and skip 'Units'. Were you able to change from the default metric to imperial in your goggles?

I downloaded the DJI Assistant consumer series and my o3 air unit just won't show up. the only thing that does is an internal storage option. I am unsure what to do. I have un installed and re installed, aswell as restarted my computer. Any ideas?

Try the other software version. It’s confusing. There is Dji Fpv Assistant and Consumer series assistant. I have both installed. If one doesn’t work I try the other.

I have the consumer drone series on. I'm signed in. I turned on the goggles 3 (same thing happens with the 03 air unit) I plug the goggles into the computer. The goggles 3 icon shows up. I click that. My email shows up and wants me to confirm so I click that. Immediately I get an ACTIVATION FAILED with a big red x and it wants me to retry. So I do., And it does the same stupid $#!+. Can someone please help me before I just send it back? I cant connect it to my phone app either. My phone doesnt have the right connector.

Owners of the Goggles 3 need to be really careful what they buy. Mainly in the sub 250 market. Make sure the drone you're getting is an 03 Air unit. There are still many goggles 2/V2 Runcam Wasp and Caddx Vista drones in circulation. These will not work with the Goggles 3. Always check the specs to confirm it's an 03 air unit
