None of the other goggles have had such a feature as far as I'm aware, so I doubt the budget model would. However, I'm fairly certain that with the DJI Fly app, a second feed can be observed for any of the recent drone models on a secondary phone or tablet.

Have you read anything to suggest that they plan on giving these support for o3? That would be great news! But usually when a company releases such a discounted version of an accessory like this, it's primarily to increase sales of their newest products. Obviously first and foremost, these goggles make the Neo much more attractive. But the Neo itself seemingly was released with 2-3 main goals, with the Neo itself not being the focus of any of those goals. Those would be to lure non-FPV drone pilots towards DJI's higher end FPV drones and goggles, to get people into the DJI ecosystem who never would have previously considered buying a drone, and to simply boost the number of DJI drone owners in the US and elsewhere in order to make widespread consumer bans more difficult. I feel like the Goggles N3 have been released with a similar strategy, and therefore it benefits DJI more to *not* make them backwards compatible. Because selling these goggles themselves isn't going to make DJI much money, and most of the people who would be buying them for an o3 system would be doing so because they already own that drone, not because they had been lured in to make a new purchase, so that doesn't benefit DJI. From my perspective, these goggles primarily atom to serve three main purposes: to make the Neo more attractive and get people on that track moving upwards, to make an Avata 2 purchase less of an initial investment, or to increase the overall value proposition of a Mini 4 Pro or Air3S purchase by offering a low-cost accessory that dramatically increases their features and capabilities. I hope I'm wrong, but a pessimistic point of view and over a decade in business management and marketing leave me with little hope for o3 support. If you have any links that might give me some hope otherwise, they would be warmly welcomed.

@@htetaung1593 I own plenty of dji product and have many top level contacts within the company. I'll keep this short, as I completely understood their corporate strategy in releasing the Neo and the Goggles N3. As often happens with DJI product, compatibility is rolled out slowly. Since these goggles utilized DJI's O4 video transmission, there is really nothing standing in the way of compatibility with the O3 Air Unit. As I previously stated, "when" they are compatible, I will pick up a pair to use with my 03 air unit equipped RC car.

@@Norber-p5t well currently they don't, but as for the future, it is just my belief that they won't be made compatible with o3 based on my background in sales and marketing. As for more O4 models, I believe they will eventually add more compatible models, but at most, only their newest versions of each model.

I did a vid where I showed how to run the Gog's with an exturnal bat for the Avata 2. I don't see why it won't work the same. The vid is called "Lets talk again" Maybe @OriginaldoBo can take a look and ver it for us. But it takes no wild equip to do, we all have it

Is the image similar to V2 goggles without antenna upgrades. It would be nice to have a pro version with adjustable diopters for $100 more with other features. The OSD on G2 is like TRYING to strain your eyes down to see voltage I wish they had options to put OSD on the sides and not bottom but my V2 were the best DJI ever made

I suppose at that price there's probably no vision pass-through, right? For the savings I don't mind having to lift them up, but at the same time you really only need a cheap camera sensor and a little bit of extra software to have pass-through, so it also wouldn't be that surprising if they *did* have some basic form of it at that price.

@@Andyrewk They won't. When I do the ride alongs I use ether the 1st Avata or the DJI FPV drone. The same gog's work on them both. I only have one set of the Gog's that work with the Avata 2

I'm just commenting because I have to know why you would want to listen to the motor noise drowning out everything else around you?? But none of the DJI drones have microphones or are capable of capturing on-board audio anyway. The only one that can record any audio feed at all is the Neo, but that records the audio from your phone and simply synchs it up with the drone video after applying a noise reduction filter.

Considering both of those units use the o4 transmission system just like these goggles do, I'm sure it's only a matter of time. Most DJI accessories are launched with limited compatibility support initially, and then they pretty quickly add support for the other drones they plan to support with a firmware update within the first month or two of release.

Totally disagree, 60fps is terrible...120fps is ideal, 100fps is acceptable, 60fps is trash 😂 the one savior may be racemode. Racemode claims to give 15-18ms on Goggles 3, and possibly 20ms on N3.. if that's true, it may be decent, but previously 60fps meant 30-40ms of latency...we will have to wait and see how they do with 04 Pro Air Units 👌

2 hours run time is great now to get the drones to last that long it really doesn't make sense that a cell phone which uses more CPU power has a smaller battery with larger capacity that lasts a hell of a lot longer than drones and their fat ass batteries that should be last seen a hell of a lot longer than 20 minutes

Ken, appreciate the review of a DJI product/accessory that can ONLY be used with DJI drones. When will DJI learn if they want to increase sales on their new accessories, they need to make the accessories capable with interacting with other than just DJI drones? I.E. Add an HDMI port to tap into a feed from a tablet, etc....With the DJI ban still looming in congress, the republicans in control of the white house, Rick Scott having won another 6-year term in the senate, after the dust settles it may be sooner rather than later that the anti-DJI machine starts up again and all of DJI products are banned. Time will tell......

googles V1 and V2 had aux in, Google 2 had direct streaming from your phone into the goggles.. People didn't use it, it added costs, they realised that people wanting something to do one thing as cheaply as possible without features they weren't going to use. If you want that function then get some goggles 2, which will still work with the O4 air unit.

As far as I've seen, most digital goggles are limited to one specific brand of transmission, whether that be DJI, Walksnail Avatar, HDZero, etc. However there are many other brands that use the DJI transmission system. The only goggles I've seen with fairly universal compatibility are analog goggles, which don't look anywhere near as good as digital. These goggles will almost definitely support the O4 Air unit, so at that point in time, there will be a ton of FPV drones from other companies that can use these goggles, just as DJI's o3-based goggles are currently compatible with dozens of different drones from other manufacturers. I don't think DJI is actually concerned with increasing sales of these goggles. From my experience they seem like more of a loss-leader specifically intended to boost the sales of DJI's newest drones. There's not a lot of room for profit on $200 set of digital goggles with a 20km range. As far as getting an extra feed from the goggles/drone, I'm pretty sure that can be done wirelessly just by installing the DJI Fly app on the secondary viewing device.

@@htetaung1593 To Fly FPV using a pair of DJI or third party goggles I need an HDMI cable that goes from the Goggles HDMI port to the tablet or device with an HDMI port.....DJI does make 1 pair, but they are huge. The White UAV goggles or racing edition. I was hoping with the new DJI goggles they would have an HDMI port which allows connection to a tablet with and HDMI port. Then FPV flight can be achieved.
