Great video, thanks for sharing. Your hubs, sounds like Industry Nine.

DJI needs to realest a firmware update that makes it so in the event the drone loses your picture Image behind brush, it automatically locks on to the coordinates of the controller that way the drone will never lose you

That would be awesome.

Good theory, now let's see if DJI can use this to all they're dones, even the ones under $500

Or it could just track the controller the whole time.

The active track only works or tracks you down through the camera. If the subject goes outside the frame of the camera it will stop. GPS tracking is not yet available with DJI system because it is a hardware issue not software. If ever DJI decides to do GPS tracking it will be released in a new drone system.

What if you are tracking somebody else or you kept your controller away after starting active track ?

I would like to see if with more contrasting clothing it would perform better. Black, tan, and brown clothing looks like all the rest of the surroundings.

I will try that. Great idea.

Appreciate some insight, as you look like you know the answers. How fast will M2Z track with obstacle avoidance enabled, and off? Can it track subjects that you've zoomed in on? Looks like it will change elevation as subject/terrain does. Will it ascend if subject ascends? Vid looks great.
@uosocal6 жыл бұрын
From what I have read, it will track a subject up to 44mph. I haven't found any info stating a difference with the sensors on or off. It will definitely follow you uphill or downhill. You can also zoom in. If the drone is too close, or zoomed in too close, the drone may not turn fast enough to track through turns or switchbacks.

@@uosocal Cool. Looks like a better alternative to my Evo. kzbin.info/www/bejne/poTcY6Sffqhko5I Yours is the best vid I've seen where elevation changes, and speed are more aggressive. Great message at the end of this vid. If more operators practiced some consideration around the public our general image would improve. Happy flying, man. Maybe I'll catch you in SoCal sometime.

I was wrong about the tracking speed. With the sensors on, it will track at 12 meters/second. About 27mph.

@@uosocal Thanks, bro. I read that in the manual just last night. It also said it will track to 20m/s with OA disabled. Got my M2Z last weekend.

How does Friday follow cam get his side scrolling drone shots?
@uosocal4 жыл бұрын
You can use parallel mode, or have another person control the drone manually.

Hi! Great video, thanks for it. Does the obstacle avoiding works in those mode?
@uosocal6 жыл бұрын
Yes it does. It has avoided trees and bushes several times. It will usually stop tracking though.
@vvtt18236 жыл бұрын
@@uosocal I see, thanks. I had the old model and obstacle avoiding was working only flying forward.

Do you just put the remote in your backpack? I wanting to do the dance thing?
@uosocal5 жыл бұрын
I have a phone mount on my handlebars. I would have the phone there, a long USB cable attached to the remote. I would have the remote in a pouch on my waist. Very difficult. If you watch the video I did in Santiago Oaks, I show my new way. I just leave the phone in the remote, and place the whole thing in the top of my backpack. Works great, and is super easy.

@@uosocal is your remote placed on the outside of your backpack? How did you do it?
@uosocal4 жыл бұрын
For this video I had the remote in the top pocket of my backpack. Joysticks off. I also did a more recent video where I have the controller in a different pack.
