There is no rear lidar, only forward facing.

The Mavic 4 will keep the same M4/3 size sensor for this, although it will be a new one, the other 2 sensors will both be 1/1.5" it is supposed to offer lossless portrait mode and make use of open gate, to shoot 100mp images it is said to use Muilti framing pixel shit like software (Again Rumoured) The lidar sensor is meant to be located in the gimbal somewhere, if they are going to put it in their cheaper drones, including the upcoming flip and Mini 5 pro then the Mavic 4 is getting it thats for sure. APAS 5 is what 3+ years old? there is no reason not to think that the Mavic 4 will have a newer version of all those systems on board

I don't see any sign of radar sensor on the gimbal on any of the leaked photos. It has to be on something that is stationary during flight

@@CodyCha I don't see it either, but if their cheaper drones including the upcoming flip and Mini 5 pro, you can be sure that their flagship consumer drone is getting it somehow. No Lidar does not need to be stationary, it depends on the type of lidar system used, but its fair to assume it will need to be fixed to a stationary point given how their other drones use it. There is however a black panel behind the gimbal on the main airframe with a sticker on it, perhaps it could be that? it could also just be the main airframe. I mean there are no clear images of the entire drones body yet so we are all just guessing at this point. I do wonder why there are 3 sensors pointing straight up in a triangle formation on the top, and the same beneath like the crashed unit had, also in the same formation.

@@jasonlee4267 If the radar is on the gimbal, it would become useless when you point the camera to the ground while flying forward. I do see what could be the radar in the very latest leaked photo (held side by side with Air 3s). 0:08 There is a wide black area on the main fuselage just above the gimbal.

@@jasonlee4267 I believe they're using more fisheye optical sensor you can put them just on the top and bottom of the aircraft and still get 360 coverage. So they can free up more room on the front side

@@CodyCha And they said more accurate Triple-eye-sensing for better positioning and locating obstacles for aboiding. It is also mentioned that this are high-resolution sensors ( fish eye ). Perhaps they can detect obstacles more far away while active track. Yes would ne good for better results in avoiding obstacles while flying fast...
